I've been out of town for a few days, but when I try to run Sims 4, it shows it's trying to run in the taskbar, but never opens. Anyone else having this problem? Wanted to ask before having to reinstall. Thanks!

The official version has not been released yet. It is still in beta. Only a technical preview has been released. It's still riddled with bugs.
The official version is due out I believe around oct in the third quarter.

I understand that it's a beta. Just wondering if anyone else was running it and have the issue.

Okay, I had a bad experience with beta before so I stopped doing them with windows yrs ago. Especially if there's a chance it's gonna mess with my games. Lol sorry your having problems.

Hi Tonycdh,
Reinstalling Sims 4 may not help, as there are no official drivers or support yet for Windows 10.
Trying to look at the problem just from the standpoint of Sims 4 not starting. A factory reset may help. Also clearing game cache and Origin cache might help as well.
Factory Reset

Delete (Game) Cache Files

Delete Origin Cache Files

Hope this helps,
