Okay.. This is something I've run into before... trying to run game without the disc, I thought I had it in there, but it wasn't there. *Blush* Try loading the game with the disc?

Well I'm back to square one again. Can't get in again.

Edit -

I decided to rename the whole electronics arts folder and generate a new one. I ran a fresh game it worked. I renamed that sims3 folder and copied the old one into that fresh new folder, it works fine right now.

Hmm.. Shoot!! I searched on this problem the other day and wasn't able to find any current fixes or workarounds. Is it doing the same exact thing of the blue dot in the middle of the black screen?

Well as I said in the pm I hope the new thing works and if it does maybe it will help someone else if it continues to work. I'll keep you posted.

@MrsFlynn Back to square one again. I can get in to play for a little bit. Then when I go to launch again to play, I can't get in.
