"Kidnapped" Child Can't Go To School

My Sim has kidnapped Miraj Alvi (added to family). The school bus won't appear and if I click the 'go to school' button, it says 'School Not In Session' even though it should be. Is there a fix for this?

I've had a similar thing happen with Sims I've used the Add to Family cheat on. When some thing glitches, try evicting the household and moving them back in, or reset the Sim.

Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household
