"Welcome to [Town Name]" Stuck Loading [Solved]

Hi everyone! I created this account to ask a question that I have found no answer to for the past hour. I had this household living in Island Paradise, but I decided it's too buggy with my cc. I threw a little going away party for my sims, and used the phone to move them to a new custom town. Everything worked fine with the phone and selecting the new town. But now the loading screen to get to the new town has been going forever. When I say forever, I mean more than 12 real life hours. I called to move last night at 7pm. It still wasn't loading, but I figured it would be loaded in the morning. I woke up at 7am to find this loading screen was still up. I go to school and come home. I'm writing this now at 3pm while the game is still loading. I know my game isn't frozen, because I have the little game tips still popping up. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

You haven't mentioned what troubleshooting steps you've tried, so please forgive any repeat tips.

1.  Delete Game Cache Files (What & Howto)

2. Deactivate Origin in Game -- Open Origin, Select Origin > Application Settings > Origin In Game and deselect to disable Origin In Game.

3. Repair Game - In Origin, right-click Sims 3 and select Repair.

4. Restart computer if you haven't in awhile. This helps to refresh the computer's memory.

5. Try a new save with new family as a test to see if that helps.

Something that helps with loading times is turning off memories and the interactive loading screen.

I actually decided to just save the household and move them. It's too much work to try and move them again, especially if it doesn't work. Thanks though!
