Pre-made sims not found in game

i have had a weird thing happen to me playing the game right this minute.  a sim is calling my sim and leaving love letters, but that sim is not found in any house in game. he was there earlier, but when i exited the game and started playing again, he is not there and neither are the 2 people he is living with. my question is has this ever happened to anyone else?

If you have EA's story progression on. (Can be found under the Advanced Demographics Options tab.) The game will move out Sims after awhile.

I play with SP turned off so my Sims friends don't move away.

Hi Peanuts, you might want to play w/nraas story progression instead of the EA default. Townie/homeless sims are not moved out or deleted from the game unless you do it.
