Pet out for adoption. Now can't save, can't travel, Adoption in progress.

My kittens were put up for adoption and have disappeared off my family list but the game thinks the adoption is still incomplete. I can't save, can't travel, can't progress. I tried resetsim but that doesn't work.

What do I try next? Thanks.

It sound like this issue or similar has been reported to Sims 4 AHQ.

With these types of bugs that glitch while processing, you may have to quit without saving and try a previous save.
