Sims 3 gameplay
« on: April 06, 2021, 10:55:20 PM »
hello everybody!  i was wondering what was or is the best sims 3 gameplay you have had since playing.

i am playing sims 3 right now and i am playing a one night stand game with rich richmond (my favorite) and a sim i created. rich is a writer in my game instead of the CEO business career and i had him head to The Grind dance club where he met Cheyenne Leighton (my sim). they danced and drank and he invited her back to his place where they woohooed and he proposed marriage and she accepted. they went to sleep and the next morning woke up to discover they were married! cheyenne is humiliated (mod the sims mod). rich calms her down and tells her he wants to give the marriage a try. he tells her he is very attracted to her and he's husband material and he will be the best husband he can be to her if she gives him a shot. she says ok and rich takes her to breakfast so they can sit and get to know each other better over a meal. then he asks her for a date and takes her to the simolean casino to gamble for a bit and head back home so he can work on his book. he tells cheyenne to make herself at home and assures her that he will give her all the space she needs and won't force himself on her, he just loves the idea of being married to her. that's where i am so far. i want to hear from you guys for inspiration for future games and if this was asked before,  sorry for that.

My favorite gameplay revolves around things becoming strange and very likely disgusting to some people. Like when I play my VJ and Miraj couple and imagine/play their life as being both brothers and lovers. There is a lot of stigma surrounding gay men (and women, for that matter) and an overall tendency to be more accepting of lesbian couples, which I cannot accept. Also, I enjoy trivializing things that are considered out of the ordinary, because what is considered "normal" very much depends on the person you ask and their situation in life. Fortunately, The Sims has a way of turning many things into "normal" - such as walking through solid objects just to mention one.

I’d have to say for me it’s a save with a sim I made, Cassie.
Cassie started as a YA who immediately managed to set her house on fire, then she met a fireman so it was all good. Fast forward a lil bit, Cassie now has a horse or two (don’t judge. I like horses, ok?!) and her and the fireman, Adam, dated and pretty much right away got married. Around this time was when I got some reason decided that this so far pretty wholesome little family needed some drama, so every night I started sending Cassie to the graveyard. It literally took like a sims week but she FINALLY was able to move in Milton Bachelor. Who apparently is Bella’s grandpa but shh. Cassie ended up pregnant, and her and Adam got divorced, and when Cassie had the babies it wa twins, a boy and a girl. I just noticed how long this is, but let’s just sum it up and say that now ive played with Cassie until elder now and honestly I could have written 5 posts this size.
they/he pronouns please!

For the last year or longer I've been playing different careers with one of my favorite Sims to see how they work and learn more about them.

I have this thing with gardening and in almost all of my saves she's gardening. I have her gardening even in my current save where in our "spare" time we're (her and I) are going through the PI career and trying to fulfill the Pervasive Private Eye ltw. lol

I wouldn't call the PI career the best gameplay, but it sure is interesting. :)

it sure is Mrs. Flynn. I played the P.I. career about twice. i like firefighter because you can rescue sims but you have to wait until later in that career. mostly i play sims who are artists or writers, because that is what i wanted to do in my life when i was younger, but never followed up on that dream. so i live out my dream through my sim.

Up til about a year ago that was my main playstyle too. Gardener, Writer, painter, careers you could do at home. lol. If I wasn't doing that, I was building houses. lol You can see some of my builds here

Something I found I like doing is creating various types of community lots. Might be worth giving a try if you like building. :)

Thank you for the compliment!! :)

Keep trying, you'll soon get better and start to like your build style.

Here is some building tutorials on Youtube. I find even though I'm okay at building I like watching them from time to time to get inspiration and refresh my memory on how to do this or that.
