Monica pretty much threw herself into her work on becoming a doctor, but that didn't stop her from trying to get Christopher to notice her.  She wore her bikini while she danced in the living room and no one really paid attention.  She had done that since she was a youth, she loved to dance.  She made sure though, that Chris was always in the same room when she did her flaunting.
The first screenshot is of a distance shot of Monica dancing in front of Chris.

This is the same picture, notice the look on her face as she is dancing and looking at Chris.  It is almost eerie, that she is making sure he is watching and she has that look on her face.  Just goes to show what we were talking about with screenshots and how we can capture certain looks that accomodate our story.

On a lighter note, Jessica and Chris went out in their best clothes to celebrate their anniversary.

Jessica had a wish to woohoo in the elevator and Chris happily obliged his wife's wish.

Well, I guess a couple of days later after Jessica and Chris's outing, there was a very surprising outcome.

Well, this is a fine mess.  I am tickled that I am going to have another grandchild, but I am afraid that this has thrown Monica into a tailspin.  She is slipping further and further away from the family bonds and moving towards the darkside.  Agnes is beside herself with grief and torment about her beautiful daughter pulling away from the family bonds.  Poor little Johanna plays chess night and day and her school work is slipping.  Jessica is oblivious to everything around her, and Chris, well, lets just say he is caught right in the middle.  The dynasty is no more.  I have concentrated so much on trying to keep the peace, that I have gotten behind on requirements and my life seems more confused and demanding.  Sometimes, I want to make ambrosia for myself and Agnes and just run away from it all, but I have to protect my little Johanna and make sure the new babies future is without so much pain and suffering.  So, now I guess my story will be The Redhouse Saga.

Intriguing. Woot! Ah, daily dose of drama!! With goody-two-shoes Chris right in the middle!

Poor Chris.  I can't make myself play him any other way.  I have lost sleep coming up with some different turns and twists, so I guess the dynasty part is over, which is fine.  I still have my Colour dynasty to play and I am really enjoying the different aspects of the Redhouse Saga.  I can't see how anyone could get bored playing this game.  If you set your mind to it, you can create any storyline your heart desires with these little pixel people.  I am so loving all of the other stories everyone is writing.  Seems like the more stories we write the better and better they get, who needs books, lol. :)

I'm looking forward to reading more of the Redhouse Dynasty :)

I guess now that you've changed it from the immortal dynasty, you have more freedom to create the drama and conflicts. I really like how it's all set up.

What a cool example of free will and story progression in action and what an awesome job you are doing of juggling a tough household.  I agree with Alexandria, now that you don't have to focus on the dynasty rules you can really have some fun seeing where all this goes.  I'm looking forward to reading more!

Just for meanness, I ought to have Monica have a baby, she dislikes children, but that would not be fair on the child.  She already scares poor Johanna as it is, meanie, lol. :)

Nathan's birthday surprise:

It was my elder birthday and Agnes said she had a surprise for me.  I am not sure what it is, she hardly ever goes out of the house and when she does, it is to go to the bookstore to get more books.  Just before the big hour, the doorbell rings.  I was busy doing something else and Jessica answers it.

I wasn't really paying attention to who Jessica was talking to, until I looked out the window and got the shock of my lifetime.

She was probably the prettiest woman I had ever seen, besides Agnes of course and she was RED.  I couldn't believe my eyes.

I had so many questions and so little time.  She introduced herself as Amanda Redhouse.
Nathan:  How could that be, I don't remember any other children born in the family.
Amanda:  Your great grandfather was a wonderful scientist, he loved the color red and of course you know the history behind your family tree.
Nathan:  but, how, when.
Amanda:  Your great grandfather and my grandfather became friends.  When your great grandfather was older and could hardly read anymore, he gave my grandfather the secret of changing genes, and, well, here I am, hence my last name.  I came to Sunset Valley because I heard there was someone else like me and I thought we could spread the color around, if you know what I mean.
Nathan:  Honey, I am getting ready to turn old and gray and besides, I have a wonderful wife and uh, um, wonderful family.
Amanda:  Who are you trying to kid, me or yourself.  Your wife, as far as I can tell, is not going to live forever.  I will still be able to bear our children.
Nathan:  You need to remember who's house you are in and this is inappropriate behavior.
Amanda:  Well, let me tell you something first.  I was at the Underground Vampire Club the night Monica and your son-in-law was there.  I saw everything.  You do know she is going to turn, don't you?
Nathan:  Turn where?
Amanda:  No silly, she is going to turn into a vampire, one of them and she is trying to drag Christopher right along with her.

I started feeling funny and turned and went into the house.  Amanda followed me and right then and there, I had my elder birthday.

I felt tingly and sparkly at the same time, but I didn't feel any older.  Right after that, I heard a ruckas and turned around just in time to see Chris attacking Monica.

My bet was on Chris, but unfortunately, Monica won, how degrading Chris must feel.

After Amanda had left and the dust settled, I grabbed Agnes by the hand and we went out back to sit and star gaze.

How could I even think of being with another woman, let alone having children at my age, or is it such a crazy thought.  I don't want to think about that now, I just want to makeout with my wonderful wife and forget about who or what is lurking in that house.

Go for it Nathan, Agnes would want you to be happy, she's awesome like that :)  Besides Amanda Redhouse obviously has fantastic genes!

Happy Birthday

I guess Monica is wreaking havoc on Sunset Valley.  She was caught sneaking up on some poor old man behind City Hall and scaring the man half to death.

Then she met Michael Bachelor, another good guy that she is trying to sink her nails into.

The poor guy, he never saw it coming.  Then she came home and scared poor Johanna.

I guess Jessica heard about that and confronted Monica and told her to leave Johanna alone and another thing, "start wearing some clothes around this house, especially in front of my husband".  Wow, I don't think I have ever heard her raise her voice quite like that before.
Little Johanna went straight to the chess board again, she does that when she feels threatened or scared.  This house is turning into a zoo, if you ask me.  After everyone was asleep, Jessica had my grandbaby, Jolina.  No one even got any pictures of her, except one.

She does not have the red skin, which surprises me, but she sure has her daddy's mouth. She is still number one in my book, but how is this poor little girl going to grow up in this household.  I have got to find a way to put a stop to Monica and her evil doings, but how and what do I do.
