Sunny is such an awesome person, I love her! You just  have to keep me waiting to see that nooboo, do you? Congrats to ChaCha on her supermac and happy birthday to your sister! :D

I could have had Gen.5 arrive in the last chapter, but I decided to make you wait one more chapter  ;)  My sister said thanks for the birthday wishes and to give you a virtual hug *proceeds to hug laptop*.  There  ;D

It's gonna be a girl, I can tell. Probably going to be a boy just because I said it was going to be a girl, that's how much I trust my own judgment.

I'm the same way.  I say one thing and it ends up being the exact opposite.  Let's just say...you have good judgment  ;)

Waiting for the new color name. I bet for a boy :) Good chapter as always!!!

Thanks CeresIn!  This next gen. is one of my favorites.  I also really like the color too, so it's a win-win.

Chapter 18- Baby Blue

I decided to make the most of my maternity leave off of work and work on my painting skill.

I got a couple of points in before the pains hit.

So, it was off to the hospital.  Labor or not, I was taking my motorcycle.  Blaine followed me in one the Grandma's cars.

Everyone welcome my sweet little girl, Mizuiro Sakura (mizuiro is a light blue/sky blue color).  We decided to call her Mizu (mizu actually means water, liquid, or flood too!) for short.  She is Disciplined and Athletic.

Mizu's favorite color is white, which pairs very nicely with her namesake.

Mizu was such a doll.  She was such a good nooboo and was adored by everyone in the household, especially my Mom.

My Adult birthday rolled around before I knew it.

But my birthday was nowhere near as important as Mizu's.  Blaine and I agreed to let my Mom bring her to the cake because we weren't sure how many birthdays she would be around for.

After her birthday, little Mizu got started right away on her toddler skills.

Look at that sweet little face  ;D

I got my Adult pieces done and Mizu got her toddler pieces done for the museum.

We made sure Mom spent as much time as she could with Mizu.  Mizu didn't seem to mind.  She loved her grandma!

With all of the toddler skilling and everything else going on, Blaine had almost forgotten about his own birthday.  He was promoted to Governor and then aged up after coming home from work.

He was still a hunk...

...And I made sure to tell him that  ;)

And on a separate note, the maid service keeps getting worse.  This one just dropped a bag of garbage on the kitchen floor while we were all standing there.  Please come back Supermaid!

We got my sister Dragon Valley for her birthday since she loves dragons.  I'm off to load it on my laptop too  ;)  Can't wait to check it out!

Congratulations on Mizu. Yes, I do stuff like guessing the gender all the time. As I've always told my friends, I am All-knowing when it comes to stuff I love. Like this dynasty. (Psst. my secret is, if somebody builds up something, like a baby being a boy, go for the opposite. No, it doesn't always work, but for me, it's a safe bet :D)

Aww, thanks Genie!  I'm glad you're enjoying this story.  Yeah, I thought it would be fun to throw some doubt in there since ChaCha is rebellious, she might be the first one to get it wrong.  I left it up to chance in the game and Mizu came out to be a girl, so moms are 3/3.

I adore Mizu.  She just gets cuter later on.  And as for Sunny, let's just say it's with good reason she's spending so much time with her.

Chapter 19- Starting Off with a Bang

My Mom was doing the thing she loved most in the world-playing with Mizu-when Grim came calling.

With Mizu's child birthday so close, Mom begged for more time.  But, noooo, Grim had to be a jerk about it.

And Grandma H made sure to tell him so.

We were all heart broken.  Mom had been with us for so long and then suddenly, she was gone.  She really wasn't that old, either, which makes this even more unfair.

A note from DD Sakura

My sweet Sunny.  I think your name described you perfectly.  You were bright, warm and helped me see all that was good in life.  You were my best friend and were always there for me, even when everyone else just thought you were imaginary.  It's still hard to believe that your fire and spirit were once contained in a little doll.  You were larger than life and I am going to miss that so much.  ChaCha, boy does she remind me of you!  As a scientist, I know that death is inevitable-at least, in some cases I suppose-so I knew this was coming but that doesn't make it any easier.  I miss you so much Sunny.  Granda H tells me that you will come back to me one day.  Ressurection is a fascinating topic and I haven't had much time to research it, so I can only use my imagination to pretend you're still here with me, just like we did when we were kids.  Love you forever, DD

RIP Sunny Sakura, aged 94.

Blaine tried to console me after Mom's death.

I grieved in the only way I knew how: spray painting public property.

Even though it made me feel better, it didn't ease the heartache.

Dad spent all of his time with Mizu.

And so did I.

And some toddler cuteness.  Just because.

Like I said earlier, Mizu's child birthday was right around the corner.  Grandma H brought her to the cake.

Sweet little Mizu wasn't so little anymore.

Here is her updated bedroom.  No more crib for my little girl!

RIP Sunny. The note from DD was heartbreaking but beautiful.

I like the name Mizuiro (all names really), but hers has a nice rime.

Happy Birthday Mizu! :)

Sunny lived to 94, which isn't too bad, but I wished she could have lived a little longer to see Mizu grow up.  She is a VERY active ghosty, so she'll be reappearing in the story pretty soon  :)

RIP Sunny. The note from DD was heartbreaking but beautiful.

I love her name too.  Out of all of the colors I've used so far, it's definitely one of my favorites.  The other ones I really like would probably be Midori (green) and Murasaki (purple) from the Original Eight.

Chapter 20- Wonder Woman

Grandma Rena did Mizu's museum pieces after her birthday party.  She decided against doing any of the dramatic poses I suggested and went with something a little more subdued.

Then I tutored her so she could start school off with an A.

Now that she was a little older, Grandma H made sure to tell Mizu about the Dynasty.  Mom had introduced the topic to her when she was little, but we wanted to make sure that she was fully aware of her role in the family.

Being a disciplined little angel, Mizu agreed to do her best with a smile on her face.

Blaine and I encouraged her to start thinking about what her might interest her as a career and as a supermax later on.  Mizu agreed to start thinking about it.

The attack of the elders is still going strong.

Mizu eventually narrowed it down to two different skills.  One skill was easy to get some equipment for.  The other, not so much.  Since Mizu would not be able to start either skill until she was at least a teenager, Blaine and I decided to take a trip to China to set things up for Mizu in the future.

Channeling my Mother's adventurous spirit, I embarked on some missions and quests from the locals.  I was determined to get a Level 3 Visa before our trip was over.

Mizu gets her athleticism from me, of course :)

While I (literally) ran around China, Blaine took advantage of the time off to work on his Guitar skill.  He found a peaceful spot by the river and played.

After 2 1/2 days of adventures, I did it.  I earned my Level 3 Visa and bought a beautiful little place near the market for us.  Blaine was so impressed that he started calling me wonder woman.

We only had about a half a day to spend at our new vacation home, but we made the best of it.  Blaine completed his Lifetime Wish.

I, meanwhile, went to the local merchant and purchased some special items for Mizu.

We returned home shortly after that.  Blaine went back to work the next day and received his final promotion.  He was now the Leader of the Free World!

And I maxed the painting skill.

With Mizu's teen birthday right around the corner, we decided to build her an early birthday present: her own area to practice Martial Arts.  She loved it and could not wait to try it out.

Mizu asked if she could spend her last weekend as a child at the beach.  I said, sure, why not?  We headed to the beach on Saturday and spent the whole day there.

Grandma H couldn't make it because she had to work at the Bistro, but Grandma Rena did join us.  She had the right idea  ;)

We also invited my Dad along, but he didn't show up until much later.  He didn't tell us why he was so late, but, whatever the reason, he seemed pretty happy about it.

Wonder Woman is actually my nickname for ChaCha.  I was super impressed that she got her Visa so fast so the name just kind of fit her.  Plus, she maxes out skills like nobody's business.  As of typing this, she has maxed five skills and is working on two more.  In summary: ChaCha is awesome.  ;D

No, ChaCha doesn't get to be called Wonder-Woman. She deserves her own heroine. ChaCha-Woman!

That's awesome!  I totally agree that she is worthy of her own superhero name  :)

Chapter 21- Everybody was Sim Fu Fighting

The day after our day at the beach was Mizu's teen birthday.  She stepped up to the cake, excited about the new skills she would finally be able to start working on.

She became a beautiful teen who looks an awful lot like her father, except with my eyes.

Then it was up to the art studio for some new museum pieces.

After her modeling job was over, Mizu had only one thing on her mind: beginning her Sim Fu training.

She headed out back to the Sim Fu area we had built specifically for her and got straight to work with the training dummy.  Look at that focus!

Being a non-immortal, Blaine was able to train alongside his daughter and help her in her quest to become a Master of Sim Fu.  Her technique is far better than his, though.  Just sayin'.

With dedication, discipline and some perseverance, Mizu was promoted to Yellow Belt, one of many belts to come.

Mizu also wished to begin working on her athletic skill to help with her training.  We bought her some exercise equipment and rearranged her room to fit the new machines.

Even though she had access to all her new skills, Mizu did not neglect her schoolwork.  She made sure to ask Grandma H to tutor her so she would start off school, once again, with an A.  That's my girl!

Speaking of me, I got my last promotion and was now taking a limo to work everyday.  Now THAT is how you arrive in style!

So, I guess you could say that Blaine and I utterly spoiled Mizu on her birthday.  We also got her a brand new car.  I taught her how to drive.

Mizu spent majority of her time alternating between her exercise equipment and her Sim Fu training.  She wasn't quite sure which one she wanted to do for her supermax so she decided to get a headstart on both, just in case.

She did take a break, however, to attend her prom.  Mizu was voted Prom Queen!  She did get into a fight after someone stepped on her foot and she wanted to booby trap the school but she saw too many chaperones around.  To make matters worse, Mizu told me that her crush showed up with a date!  Not cool, dude.  Not cool.

Thankfully, Mizu put that experiences behind her pretty quickly and continued working on her Sim Fu.  She and Blaine started sparring against each other.

(Author's Note: Having practiced martial arts myself for over a decade, I have to say Mizu's side kick isn't half bad  ;) )

So, this is Steve.  He and Mizu were in Elementary School together until she moved up to the High School.  They were good friends and Mizu was pretty excited when she saw that he had aged up into a teen too.  She called him over so they could hang out again and this is how he showed up.  As a Young Adult.  What is up with that?  Despite the age difference-again-Mizu and Steve remained friends.

Who doesn't want to be with Mizu? She is a) epic and b) in an immortal dynasty. Who doesn't want to see their eldest child live forever? Along with your true love? Exactly, I rest my case.

Yeah, Mizu had a pretty dismal prom based on the notifications I received  :(  But things get better for her, I promise.

Chapter 22- ChaCha's Final Bow

All of a sudden it was time for my Elder birthday.  To say I got a little too into my cake is an understatement.

I was pretty okay with becoming and Elder until I realized I was getting old!  When did that happen?!

I still looked pretty great for an Elder though!

Blaine made sure to tell me so.

After Blaine and I came up for air, I headed to the art studio to take care of the last requirement for immortality: my Elder museum pieces.

Then it was down to the kitchen to get my first taste of Ambrosia.

The fact that I had done it really didn't resonate with me right away.  But I had done it.  I was immortal.

The final part of my requirement was to receive the gift of a deathflower from Grandma H and then pass on this notebook to my daughter, Mizu.

Keep on rockin',

Hello everyone.  My name is Mizuiro Sakura, but everyone calls me Mizu.  I am the fifth heir in an Immortal Dynasty.  I have always been a disciplined person, so when my Granda H told me about the rules, there was no doubt that I was going to do whatever it took to help my family.  The only problem is, I'm not 100% sure what I want to do yet.  I love sports and athletics, but do I want to focus on martial arts or just exercise in general?  Well, I'm still just a teenager, so I have a bit of time to decide before it really becomes important for me to choose.  Speaking of birthdays, the first thing I get to write about is my Dad's birthday.  He aged up the day after my Mom became immortal.

Dad is great.  He is the only one I can spar with for my Sim Fu training since he is not and cannot become immortal.  Dad aged up in his uniform after practicing with me.

I laughed when I saw that he had the same reaction to aging up that Mom did: terror.

He still looks rather handsome, don't you think?

After Mom's immortality and Dad's birthday, things went back to normal.  I practiced breaking some boards.  Here I am breaking some oak boards with a downward Knifehand Strike.

I always like to meditate before I practice.  It helps me clear my head and focus.

I found myself doing a lot of meditating as my teenage years drew to a close.  I still couldn't decide if I wanted to focus on Sim Fu or if I wanted to be an all around athlete...but I had to decide quickly because that following week, it was my Young Adult birthday.

I didn't care for the sleepwear I aged up in, but I did look pretty good in it...oh dear, I sound like my Mom.

I quickly headed upstairs to find something a little bit more, well, me.

And I did my hair so it would stay out of my face while I trained...or worked out...or both...

Mizu looks IDENTICAL to the seventh heir in the Original Eight, Murasaki.  Here is what Murasaki looks like:

That's pretty amazing that they look so similar after so many generations  :)
