If you have a fairy, use bloom to harvest more of the lower quality produce. That way, you can save the 75 perfect produce challenge for later.

As my dynasty progresses into week 22, more and more townies are dying off. I thought, great more empty houses, but the problem is NPCs are becoming my family's bosses. When ever they try to call their boss to chat or come for a visit, the boss is always at work and doesn't know when they'll be done. It doesn't matter what day or time of day, they are always unreachable. So my suggestion is to not count on asking a boss for a promotion if your game gets to this point. Just be prepared and make other plans, maybe get through the rabbitholes first and liberal use of the workaholic trait.

I've found that my drones' inventories are not transferring to the oldest member of the family when they move out. I lost a Collector Helper (or whatever it's called) that way, plus a bunch of special seeds.

One tip I picked up from KRae's story -- when you have enough cash on hand, give every drone the Living in the Lap of Luxury LTW when they become a young adult. What I do after that is have them buy the Inheritance lifetime reward. It helps with those properties and houses they have to buy.

Yes, when you kick out a household member their inventory transfers. When you buy them a house, they keep their stuff. I'm glad as I don't have to deal with a plethora of IFs.
And if you have Showtime, the dusty old lamp is even better.

My king is waiting (im)patiently for his queen to max her cooking career so they can bring their first group of Tribblets into Sunset Valley. She is at level 6 of the career, while he has managed to complete all of his requirements, including job maximisation already. So his was standing around the place looking bored. Then  I had a brainwave ... I needed something that he can do that doesn't let him stockpile or similar and I decided that the answer to his needs was a set of one armed bandits in their house. He's been using them non-stop during the day time hours, getting in lots of money for the spreading of the tribblets into Sunset Valley for the ultimate takeover of the town. At night? Well that is when he transforms into his werewolf form and goes a hunting for elixir potion ingredients, and bites townsfolk to turn them into his packmates.

So, my point is that Gambling is your friend in Sims 3, if you have the necessary premium content. :)

Oh, by the way, my king has found that complaining to a lady about how long she is taking to max her career, is almost as dangerous as complaining to a lady about how long it is taking for her to get dressed, and does not recommend doing it, especially if said lady is a genie. :)

I thought of a workaround. Have a drone use a certain rabbithole job for their career before the king or queen does. The game can assign family as bosses, so you can get a boss that lives in town.

Granted, I'm four days into my own dynasty, so I haven't tested much. :P

With story progression off, the game does not bring in new families. An NPC gets assigned the job.

A couple of warnings -- with the Art Appraiser careers, you don't have a boss after you reach level 5. Harwood Clay was Regina's boss when she started. He was still there when she reached level 6, but not her boss anymore nor even a co-worker. When she started on the 2nd branch, he was her boss again. And when he died, there wasn't a replacement boss.

If you send a group to Oasis Landing, they will all return when one member of the group does. It's not like World Adventures, where you can send them back one at a time.

As well as the obvious use for triplets, the genies are a handy source of best friends that are always available too, if you're avoiding socialising. Though if multiple best friends at once isn't counted as stockpiling now that isn't quite as much of a problem!

Remember while you are allowed to have more then one best friend per RD you cannot use any of the spare best friends for the next RD. You have to do the work each time.

The team was just discussing the following issue — what if your queen delivers late at night and you have little time to get your clones to still have everything done on the same day? This is totally under player control in my opinion. Get your queen pregnant in the morning and then she would also deliver in the morning. Then you have all day to get clone vouchers.

That's what I've been doing. All births have been before 10am. It also allows lots of time for multiple birthday cakes and potty training.

I'm pretty sure that all my infants and clones have arrived on the same day. This last batch, it was after midnight by the time I heard chimes, so they're all good. I'll definitely keep an eye on this in the future.

I have never had to have to ask the boss for a promotion unless I got a smidgen of career performance to max level. (Which tends to happen a lot with my Sims - even with Multi-Tasker, they tend to be a sliver away from the max level of job performance just as they leave work. :( ) Unless your Sims are going to get old and infertile, I don't sweat the job promotions. They'll top their career eventually.

I'm still confused by the skill challenge requirement for procreation days - do all of the Queen's skill challenges have to be unique from her partner's or can she overlap later? For example, if the Queen does Brushmaster and Proficient Painter, can her partner get those on the next set of requirements or can he never paint? Please explain.
I play The Sims 4 for fun, so I don't care if I never end up being interviewed for the Dynasty Hall of Fame; people who play for keeps burn out too easily and don't enjoy playing the games, so I am going to not sweat the details.

The skill challenges do not need to be unique between the king and queen.
