A better way to test what you've got is to use the Preview button (next to the Post button).  It will show you exactly what your post will look like and you won't have to make actual posts to test it.  :)

Also, make sure you're getting the image tags, either by copying them from Photobucket or by using the Insert Image button here.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've uploaded my pictures, resized them, but I can't click on the IMG thing to copy it. It's grayed out.

Can you get the plain image url? Then you can type out the [img] tags yourself and put the url where it should be.

I'll try that. I thought copying would be easier, less chance of an error on my part.

Okay, I went back in and reclicked and resaved some settings and it's working now. So much better than trying to type all that.

@mpart, I think you chose the HTML option instead of the IMG (the bottom one). If you copy that and paste it into your post, the picture should show up.
