Third Time's the Charm: Chapter 67- The End!/Heir Recap (Jan 20)-COMPLETE!

Olivine, apparently, couldn't handle her ceviche and subsequently shot flames from her mouth and ears. I like spicy food, but this is ridiculous. Anyhoo, poor little Aqua, who was sitting across from her mother, was flambéd.

That can happen?! Poor Aqua! Looks like the rest of the family did well not to get toasted as well.

I was stunned when it happened. I had never seen that happen before. The worst part was that Aqua actually died as a result. Thankfully, my game crashed/froze a short time later (and after I finished crying) and I had to restart a day before that happened. Normally, I'd be annoyed at that happening, but, in this instance, it was a good thing!!

Well at least her mother taught her an important life lesson, don't eat spicy food.

I actually am a fan of spicy food, so I may have to protest that lesson

I, too, have never seen that happen. If some spicy food is a sim's favorite, I have them eat it. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Cobalt had made something spicy, presumably ceviche, that the family had for leftovers one night. I've seen them do the breathing fire thing many times before, but that was the first time that anyone was ever set on fire. That was the unfortunate result

Chapter 32- The Mystery Woman

It was crisis averted in the last chapter after poor little Aqua avoided being barbecued by her fire breathing mother. This chapter, we start up off on a different note with, wait for it...a mystery! Let's all channel our inner private eyes and spy on the newly YA Cobalt.



Look! There he is with that mystery lady!! Let's all hide like sim private eyes do: by remaining completely out in the open with a pathetic attempt to hide ourselves, courtesy of two hand held plants. Fool proof.



Well, it appears that Cobalt has decided that this mystery lady is the one for him-

Cobalt: Watcher, she's not a mystery lady. You found that she lives in a house and is single so she'd be a perfect spouse-
Malley: I'm a mystery writer, kid. Work with me here.



Cobalt decided to be a killjoy and announce that his mystery lady is, in fact, not a mystery. Her name is Bree Rushing and she is the intended spouse for Cobalt.



It was a beautiful place for a proposal, for sure.



Back at home, things were not quite as pretty. I think Zak was trying to play catch, but I'm not entirely sure.





Well, whatever he's doing, he seems pretty happy, so I'll let him be.



It was a good thing because my camera was panning over to the kitchen anyway. Clarissa was celebrating her elder birthday.





The first thing she wished to do with her old wrinkly self was to retire from the military. Great. She was going to be in the household 24/7. Great.





Aqua must have sensed my frustration and decided to spend one of her mood swings booby trapping the house.



I noticed and immediately sent Clarissa to, um, "check out" the sink.



Clarissa: You knew that was going to happen!
Malley: What? Me? 



Clarissa wasn't the only victim. Ivy also fell for the toilet prank set by Aqua.



As disappointing as it was that Aqua couldn't prank Clarissa anymore that Aqua was no longer a child, she seemed quite thrilled to be celebrating her young adult birthday.



Malley: Don't get too close to that fire, Aqua...







Here is young adult Aquamarine.



Her final trait was Shy. Aqua decided to become a Forensic Specialist: Dynamic DNA Profiler. A girl after my own heart!

Loving this story and your writing style is wonderful!!  I'm still new to the whole forum thing but wanted to say hi!  I had to delete my other username (katherineghale) because I made it on the tapatalk app which completely crashed my phone  .  So I'm back reading the old school way.  Just glad I was able to find the stories I was reading before!  Can't wait to see what Chrissa will be up to in her old age.  Maybe Grim will take her sooner rather than later?

If it wasn't for the annoying routing issues and need to drive a boat everywhere, Isla Paradiso would be a pretty awesome place.
