Xbox 360 inventory glitch?

I'll try to explain as best I can.


I have a family that i have been working on for quite some time now. Four siblings, a cat and dog. Lately when I open the Backpack Inventory, it's blank. I have things in it and if I scroll down, the names and info will pop up in the information panel. However the list remains blank. When the list was visible, one space would remain blank. Before, the guitars would do that but I could fix that. So is it another item or a different kind of glitch? How can I fix it?

As far as I can tell, if you've got an inventory glitch in the console game there is no way to fix it. However, If you have previous backup. Try that.

When I had my inventory disappear on me years ago on the PS3, I finally quit the game in disgust. When I opened it up again the inventory was back.
