Ladders on Houseboats?

Hi, if anybody sees this, is there such a thing as a ladder leading to the water from the houseboat?

I haven't seen a ladder leading to the water.  A Sim needs to be on the shore to enter the water and will access the houseboat from the dock.  There may be some mods that will allow a Sim to enter the houseboat from the water but I don't know of it.  I rarely play with houseboats these days.

Me neither! Somebody else I know was asking about it so I thought I'd ask here.

While I'm at it, I never got any replies to my other thread in the proper section, but is there such a thing as a "hang out" option for conversing w/a mermaid? I'm best friends w/Triton and there is still no "hang out" option.

Yes. While near the water's edge, you have to click on them on the relationship panel to call them. Your sim has to wait for them to come to you, then you can talk to them and ask them to hang out or just talk.

hmmmm, it seems no matter where I am, the hang out just doesn't appear, but I'll try one more time
