Sims 3 stuck at loading screen for both new and old games!

So, this just started happening, and it's not a CC issue because I've already uninstalled all my recently-installed CC. My game simply hangs in the loading screen when making a new game.

Here are some troubleshooting tips to try:

1. Deactivate Origin in Game -- Open Origin, Select Origin > Application Settings > Origin In Game and deselect to disable Origin In Game.

2. Repair Game - In Origin, right-click Sims 3 and select Repair.

Turn off that loading screen game. It slows things down to a crawl.
