Sims 4 - Custom content not showing up in game
« on: June 24, 2018, 09:42:48 PM »
I have a child's "room" that I downloaded that is not showing up.  I checked in the gallery and custom content is checked.  I checked in the options and custom content and script mods are checked.  I've restarted the game.  The maker calls it a "room" but its all package files, and is installed in the mods folder.  I've just gotten the games so just recently completed installing and patching, etc.  Patched all the way up to Seasons.  I just started adding custom content into the game today.

Have you cleared your cache files and deleted the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder to help with troubleshooting.

If yes, you may need to go through your mods folder again to see what still maybe interfering with the game. As the newest game patch caused a lot of mods and cc to become outdated.

I only have a couple of mods installed at this point and they were all updated for Seasons when I downloaded them.  Thanks for your help.  I'll try all of this and see what happens.
