  • Date of Request: 18 Dec. Client: Jen2912. Request: A house for a family with 4-5 Bedrooms, 3-5 Bathrooms, Garden, Gym, Skill Room, Laundry Room and Basements for Nectar Making and Collections. Lot Size: 40x40. Price: Any. Full Details. Important:Use only Base, WA, HEL, FL, A and LN Content.

Hey Jen, I've built a house that should meet this standard for you.

There are four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.  There's a garden in the backyard and a gym in the detached building.  I didn't exactly know what you meant by a skill room, but every skill item has been placed*, and are concentrated in the kitchen, the study room upstairs, and the "workshop" in the basement.  The basement is accessible from the detached and includes the laundry room, nectary, and two "museum" like rooms for collections.  I'll be posting some screenies in the showboat thread if you'd like to take a gander, but I'd foremost like to bring this picture to attention:

The museum rooms are accessed using triggers attached to the red and green torches in the basement.  Pulling the green torch opens the secret door, and the red closes it up again.

I did a little ground texturing but it could probably use some more, and I'm not fond of the roof (I'm terrible with roofing), so if you would like a touch up to that, I'd be more than welcome to defer the piece to someone whose handy with those intricacies.

With that said, here it is!  It was a fun build and I do hope you enjoy it.

*Any skill items from LN are unaccounted for, because I don't have LN yet.

Oh, sweet irony, deliver me from coincidence.

Please feel free to utilize any of my builds in any of your stories and so forth.

The link to the house is broken.  Could you please fix it?  I want to check out the house.  Thanks.

Whoops, I see I accidently used one store item [just one armchair!]... Ah well, when you download it'll just replace it with a similar item.

I apoligize... but my test sims do not share this problem.

He makes it down the staircase without a complaint and without changing a thing.

Could you give me a screenshot?  That might help me understand what problem you're having.

The only thing I can think of is that something is making your game more fickle to moveobjects on?  If that's the case, simply remove the door and the two panels of wall right before the staircase and the three lights underneath the staircase and you shouldn't have a problem.

...I think.  I'm sorry, but I'm stumped here.

It would need to be more detailed than that, include roughly how many lots, how large, what theme (Dessert/Tropical/Woodlands/Grassland etc.) if you want all the rabbit holes or if you want to build them yourself etc. Try includng those details and then I will put it up on the list.  ;)

Okay, in more detail:

* Around fifteen residential lots, with five of them empty
* A tropical theme
* Small size
* If it's not too much trouble, I'd like the rabbit holes in.
* All the ambitions lots (They can be premade, that doesn't really matter to me.)
* Some high rise buildings, as well as some bars and nightclubs
* A central park
* A beach
* A library, with skill books
* Fish, bug, seed, metal and gem spawners
* Subways
* A graveyard
* A pool

That's about it. So, is this:
a) Too much to request
b) Not enough information
c) Enough information
