They copied the "Union Cove.sims3" folder, zipped it, and uploaded it to the Guide.

@littlesweet
Glad you have the world now!
To play the correct Union Cove for your game (since you don't have all expansion packs), I believe you have to choose to load the save file and not start a new file in UC.
Hope you have as much fun with it as I do! :)

I have installed UC in my launcher, and i have the saved file in Saves. There still isnt any saved games in the main menu in Sims3?

I know I'm so late on replying to this, as I've been away, but this is amazing. I am so honoured to have the Moons present in this town!

Maybe this will help you:

Okay I think I fixed the problem.  http://imageshack.us/f/204/fixedo.png/

but, loaded the game and there was still no saved game for Union Cove.  ???

Edit: wait! I just took the Union Cove out of the ucepsave folder and put it directly into saves. Cross your fingers and pray this works!

Edit: IT WORKED!! Woohoo haha it took long enough  ::)
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

I can't wait to see what the full moon will look like in UC. They say that it will show in every world, so does the game automatically add it to downloaded worlds as well and if not will you guys put it in?

I have Late Night, Ambitions, Generations, Pets, and High-End Loft Stuff...
would not having WA impact my gameplay too much?

Probably should, as most as the trees are WA

Anything WA will be replaced and so you will get replacements for the trees in the World.

Is there any speculation as to when the world will be updated?

Just as an update, I'm having some routing issues at the art gallery in town. If I send my Sim there and then try to click to have her leave she gives me routing bubbles and refuses to move. I've tried sending her to a spot outside, to the Open Air Market next door and home with the same results. I have to click around for a while to get her out of there. Don't know if anyone else is having the same issue? Just downloaded today with the save file so I have the most recent update.

I decided to download this world and have one of my sims (and his dog) explore the place.

Twinbrook will always be my favorite town, but this comes pretty close to knocking it off its pedestal. The downtown is laid out so nicely, and the lot design is impressive. Thanks to everyone who worked on this. I'm in love.

It takes a long time to load and to save, which is the only negative for me.

After toying around with UC a little, I decided to start a legacy in it -- just a normal legacy for now, nothing special.

I created a sim named Liam Legacy. At first, he attempted to court Seab Ody, but after Seab started to give Liam strange looks, Liam decided to look elsewhere. He soon found Angela Buznik (I had no idea she was Anushka's simself OR had a house on Mod Hill), whom he quickly married. They had another son together named Glenn.

A quick question : I'm running UC with only Generations and Showtime and the NPCs in the open air market don't show up. At all. Which means there's no way for me to buy groceries. Is there another way that I'm just not aware of or is the open air market just incompatible with not having all of the EPs?

The Market requires WA and Ambitions. It functions as a Consignment Store mainly and without the registers it is purely decorative. To buy groceries you'll have to go to the normal supermarket.
