Does anyone else ever want to "fast-forward" their lives sometimes? I'm getting this a lot during exams. Oh no, three interrupted hours of essay-writing, kill me now...
Also I constantly want to testingcheatsenable myself. Energy meter? No worries!

Yes, yes, yes!!
I often think about that when I can't sleep, when I know I'm going to be in a social interaction for a while, etc. Hahaha.

When I'm mentally making a list of all the things I need to do, I imagine a a mouse clicking all the objects in my house and lining up things in the top left corner. It helps me not forget anything!

Example, about to leave the house to go into town.

Click letter. Select pick up and put in bag.
Click sink. Select brush teeth.
Click bag. Select search for keys.
Click mirror. Select style hair for the day.
Click fridge. Select make lunch box.
Click bus stop. Select walk here.

Sigh. Too much sims. I do the moodlets thing too.

Also if I'm talking about something that could be linked to one of the thought bubbles in the Sims, I imagine that pop up sometimes. So if I'm talking about money or banking, I imagine the graph one pop up.

I also imagine wishes appear. E.g. half way through a shift at work I imagine the wish "go home, + 5000".

If I stay 2 to 3 weeks without playing The Sims, the songs from the radio (mostly Soul, Rockabilly and vanilla's Pop) start playing in my head constantly... It's like the game was calling me.

I know what you mean. If songs like that one "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum comes on the radio I think of the you tube video that was done about  the inventor in Ambitions.   Some songs sound strange to me when not done in Simlish.  :D

I realized I was playing too much Sims when my toilet didn't want to flush, and I cursed at it in Simlish.

"Amoukee... amoukee!"

And then I realized what had happened and pondered if I needed to start attending meetings or start a steps program ;)

I've also had dreams where all I could speak was Simlish and nobody could understand me, so they had to infer what I was talking about by the little bubble pictures above my head.

Yes!  :o My main Sim's favourite music is Electronica, so I'm forever getting those songs stuck in my head, and some of them are really eerie. It's a little freaky.

Quick Edit: And I just remembered I had a dream about Sims 3 last night. Something about tattoos. Uughn.

I was typing to my sister on yahoo last night. For some reason I couldn't spell right and I was laughing at myself, she said it's ok you have been playing sims too long and forgot how. Pretty bad when someone tells you that lol. I of course said, no my simmies can spell! She said that's them not you.  ::) I've even asked a friend if they knew a program I could go into! But I also agree with what Schipperke said. I can quit anytime I choose, but the problem is, I don't choose too. Hmm maybe I do have a problem! I saw a pic of someones arm once and thought immediately about Leto!  ;D I can honestly say I haven't dreamed of anyone on the forums! Yet  ;D.

When you are talking to your non sim friends about "my wife did..." or "my husband disappeared" and they just look at you :)

I'm sorry I can't think of anything to contribute, although I'm just as addicted as everyone else.  But I'm surely enjoying these stories!  ;D

Sometimes, if something in my way, I do that Sim stamping foot thing. Also my friends are sometimes like, "Is this the Sims we're talking about, or your life?" and recently another friend was like "What's the difference?" Harsh ;)

Absolutely! My adult daughter wanted ideas for a halloween costume, and I suggested a green plumbob.

Thanks for the idea. Carl, can I advertise here for my new company: Plumbob Heat Inc.?

Looby, you'll get 20 pounds if you won't tell anyone, okay?

EDIT: LlamaMama, 10 pounds if you keep your mouth shut too, okay?
