Finally reached the end. Only took me like four days.

I must say Pam, Uriah is totally amazing. I installed Ambitions pretty recently and haven't had a clue where to start with all my dabbling and exploration. You just gave me a wonderful starting point. Simbot Hybrids. Gotta be one of the most insane things I have ever heard of when talking about the Sims 3. I love it!!

Yea every time I call, he talks about a floor hydrogenator. I figure he's busy so I hang up.

Oh, the floor hygienator! When I first read that, I thought I was ripping my diaphram out through my stomach, it hurt so bad 'cause I was laughing too much. And I apologize for any overly graphic images the previous sentence may have caused in anyone's mind ;D
Errm... Before we drift too far off topic, how's the robo-nooboos doing? ;D

It was part of the birth announcement, naming, and choosing traits.  I only got to chose one trait for each baby and in the spot where it tells me what the first trait is, there was also the SimBot/Immune to Fire business.

I used to know this, but when I read your post nothing came back in my head. Can you maybe take a picture to show how the screen looks where to find hidden traits? Than I may remember it myself.

It might be just a one time thing at birth, Leto.  It's same screen you use when you're choosing the baby's traits.  I can't click on anything after that point to see the hidden traits.  If I can get a screen shot, I'll post it here.

Pam - To make Simbot Hybrids does the Simbot have to be Male? I think it might be?

I don't know for sure as this is the first time I've had it happen.  I'm guessing that your theory is that a female SimBot wouldn't be able to have a physical pregnancy.  That makes some sense in a normal world, but we're talking about a world where Story Progression can make almost anything happen.  So, I think it would be possible with a female.  Definitely worth checking out.

Just finished reading through your whole story!  Pretty amazing stuff!

So let me get this straight, you have to go and play another family in order for the couple to procreate?

I'm not Pam, but I know the answer. Yes, you need to control another household for a SimBot to procreate. That's exactly how Uriah was born, and his kids. SimBots and Mummies can't procreate naturally, but Story Progression makes it somehow happen.
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

Yes I can vouch for this as I have finally gained the Simbot hybrid. I started off with an inventor who made the Simbot then I moved the Simbot out. It wasn't until the second generation became a teen that I saw that the Simbot had gotten married and it wasn't until the second generation was and adult that I saw the Simbot had a toddler.

Hey Pam, can you share the Simbot Household if you can't go into CAS?

I would probably have to use Edit Town and save the entire household.

hehe, that's one way of solving the problem, I guess. I can see how it would be very annoying and difficult to work around. But PLEASE share them Pam, oh please! ;D
