I playtested it in 3 Sim weeks and find 1 serious issue plus 2 minor ones, and am saving changes as I type. As soon as I'm done, I'll sent Carl the file that has passed all the tests.

For those who already started challenges/dynasties etc that has strickt rules, you can wait with this updated version untill you finish the challenge, as we are not allowed to move families around. For everyone else, it will bring the same change to your family as will moving them from SV to BP would - relationships outside household and opportunities are canceled, but skills, jobs, inventories, relationships in household, and of course the house you build - will be the same.

Zapkid, you download it the same way you download the first version, make shore you did all the steps before (save households, uninstall and delete old UC and delete cache files).

Again, sorry for this, it will be resolved as soon as possible.

It looks as if we might get the Showtime patch early next week, so people might want to wait to download the new Union Cove.

Well, version 2 is already up. I was wondering if these fixes are already included or not. I downloaded version 2 yesterday but then I saw this post, so I'm not sure if Anushka's new fixes are already included or not.

It's version 2, and the new download link is available. You can update your UC versions now. Please follow the instructions next to the link. These download mirror sites have a lot of ads that look like download buttons. Using my note will keep you on track.

I think I'll wait, as I've already modified the town to my liking.  Also, is it possible to rename one of them as say, version 2, so we'd technically have 2 versions of the same world in our "installed worlds" folder?  I'm guessing that would be done on my end.  I've been playing Lunar Lakes recently, but I wonder how Union Cove would look with some new buildings, hehehe!

Thanks for the update, Carl. I can see that it's different now. The download from yesterday was titled UnionCovev2_ and now it's just titled UC. I'm currently replacing the old one in all my sims 3 files. However, I will say that I liked how the first (version 2) one has the version number in the title instead of just a generic UC. I know it doesn't really affect anything, but it helped me keep things straight on which UC I was adding and which one I needed to remove. Thanks again!

Oh, I wasn't suggesting you upload it again at all! Just a suggestion for the next update.
