Thanks Nutella, I thought I was okay but then I thought I was okay last time when I messed up, better to check these things.

I was just reading the ITF guides, I decided to use rabbit hole jobs for the ops and so have it installed, I noticed a comment about dream pod dreams permanently changing traits which reminded me of something I meant to ask before, if one of our sims rolls the unstable trait do we have to send them to hospital or do the paper bag thing so they don't change their traits if they are 'out of sorts'? I was sort of assuming we would have to as no trait changing is allowed but I don't see it mentioned in the rules, unless I overlooked it.

@Turoskel

Yes, if your sim rolls the unstable trait, you will have to do the paperbag or hospital so they don't change their traits.

I don't know if this has been asked already (can you search threads? :P) but...
For moving in a desired spouse: does it have to be done by the heir that is seeking marriage? (For ex: Heir 2 is a child and I'm trying to save a certain sim for them, so to prevent them from dying/having another relationship, I have Heir 1 move him in). Does this count as illegally adding to the household? Do I have to wait until the heir seeking marriage is of marriage age?

The heir themselves has to move their intended spouse in.

Edited because I was in the wrong thread and should not comment at 1am.

Okay lets try this again adding to what Trip has said the heir can only invite a potential spouse to move in once the heir is old enough to marry.

Also to add to what Trip has said you should only be moving in the heirs spouse once they have completed all their requirements not beforehand.

Rachel

They can't move the spouse in before they finish their requirements? I thought you could move them in whenever.

Okay another question, for some reason yesterday I failed to notice my ghost baby was also a witch, he still counts as a new life state though doesn't he? mother is a witch and father a ghost and he is both.

Because there is something new about his life state, he counts as being of a new life state.

Thanks Trip, I thought so but wanted to be sure, I had also already fed Dallas ambrosia so was a bit stuck if it wasn't the case as I now had no ghost father, guess human would have done but it's a bit boring compared to a dehydration ghost.

Alright, so a premise:

Say a sim dies on your lot. (Naturally, of course, like they were just old and died, or stupidly tried to fix something in a puddle...) That sim can later be resurrected as used as a spouse, correct? Or are they required to stay a ghost to be used? If resurrection is okay, using Ambrosia, how can the requirement that the spouse has to be the one to move them in count?

You can resurrect any sim that dies on your lot to use as a spouse, and you don't have to keep them as a ghost if that's not the life state you want.

As for resurrecting them with ambrosia, I'd play it safe and resurrect them another way and then feed them ambrosia once they're a part of the household.

Alright, thank you. If I use the Oh My Ghost opp, it doesn't have to be the heir to get it, does it?
