samoh, there's no need to add buildings, houses or rabbit holes to the town. But if you mean like trees and such, I'd like anything thats not a pine tree. Or palm trees.  ;)

Oh, yeah, I know he's fantastic ;D! But I was kinda thinking this would be somthing for me to do, desiging a town, because I'm only playing my legacy, and it's getting a tad boring....

It will be easier on me not having to do the lots since that would mean going in through CAW into the game and then saving and that just takes hours.

Well yes it is Beau.  :) As for the island it is taking on a wooded feel but not using the Fir Trees more Oaks and those other tree types etc.

Curses, I reloaded the world and all the plants had gone...  :-\ I guess it did not save properly. Anyway this is what I have without plants, it is flat and most community lots are unmarked and left alone but a few have the Lot Types I designed them for, Anything you want changing like Terrain paints etc. I decided to keep the terrain flat since I thought you may be placing lots as well as building so it will be easier to place stuff. The top half of the island is mainly the Town Centre but thebottom half is the Residential Areas with Two rather large lots to choose from.

It also appears I messed up one of the lots in the top right so it is a residential, it could either be a City pad or something.  :P

samoht, it looks great! So pleased with the size, but I'm not sure there are enough lots. There are only about 6 Residential. Maybe you could add some to the big bit of vacant space near the town centre? Looking good though! :)

samoht, that looks awesome.  Soooo, if you had a theme in mind, say medieval,  you could actually make a land for it?  (Can you feel a request coming on?)  I have so wanted to build a castle, and already have two that were made by others that I want to place.  Are you going to upload the island?  It would be fun to play it.

If you have a land, like the island you built, couldn't the person playing buill doze areas or just add lots of varying sizes if they wanted to?

I've never fooled with the CAW tool but sounds like this could be a fun thing to do.

The Island I had a pic of will be up for download and yes I could attempt themed worlds if they are not to difficult since I am not the best at CAW.

Okay, so do you think the amount of community lots is enough? I have Ambitions, so I need room the for the 4 extras that come with that. I only need 3 Late Night clubs, according to my count I need minimum 22 community lots, and you've got about that. I still think more residential lots are needed. The residential lots are all pretty big, so I don't mind if you split them. I think an extra 5 lots could be added that way, but please leave the Legacy lot intact! :) Also, like I mentioned, you could add some to the area near the town centre. Sorry for all the trouble :P

Looks great! ;D I'm really happy with the lots, and don't worry, I like Birches, they remind me of Anne Of Gables! A few more oaks woud be really good though ;)

Oh yeah and on the lot issue in LN they introduced the buildings that have two different Rabbit holes in them. So if you used the LN city hall it has City Hall, Police Departement and the Military Services in it. But some of the lots are big anyway and could fit several buildings on them.

O know, but there are rumors about the City Hall, Police Department and the Military Services building that older opportunities won't work with the buildings. Or maybe it was the other way round :)
