Introduction:

If I could just remember what had happened. It feels like yesterday I was someone else, somewhere else.
Now I am here on this empty big lot, with a feeling that someone is watching over me.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

A mail on my phone, does someone know what happened to me?

“Hi Shireen,
I am glad you accepted my invitation to start a legacy family. I know you might be confused right now, and that you cannot remember much, (thats sadly one of the side effects of the teleporter.)
But so that you can remember who I am, I am a watcher. I am normally a very strategic and overachieving watcher, but this time i searched for a more relaxed project, and this is where you come into the picture.
You wanted a new start, remember? At the wishing well in your hometown. A new start to build a family and follow your dreams. And you knew it would be easiest to get if you could get in connection with a watcher.
So here I am, and attached is the deal I have for you. You will start a legacy following the rules attached. But don't worry, I will make sure your dreams come true.

Legacy? Watcher? Wishing well? Whats going on here, if just I could remember! But the only thing i seem to remember is myself in different situations, but with different hair and clothes.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Whats going on here, should I just take the offer of that watcher?

Shireen is beautiful!
That short bob looks so good on her. That and her glasses set her apart from her other long-haired "cousins."
Please, please, please convince Shireen to accept the offer from her normally strategic, overachieving watcher!
Even the super-duper power-player that you are needs to relax now and then. :D

I'm greatly looking forward to following Shireen as she starts on her new life.

That made me chuckle. I am not that kind of watcher, either. Welcome aboard, Lena!

Also that first pic of her on the stats page is beautiful with the sunlight behind her

Woohoo! Welcome Shireen! Oh, I'm so excited. I have to laugh that getting all 103 points on short lifespan is going to be a relaxed game for you, but knowing what I know about you I'm sure you and Shireen will manage with ease.

I loved the cameos by the other four Sharebears! It's so fun to see them side-by-side.

I'm already having fun reading this. I'm excited to see where it goes from here!

What a cool intro!!  Loved the collage of the other version of our dear founder!
I'm really looking forward to how you'll casually stroll through racking up the 103 points.  Must say, I'm already questioning if I'll end up scoring in the mid 80's  ;=)
Looking forward to more!

If I manage 75 points I'm going to be happy. I decided to switch to normal lifespan, too, because short was stressing me out and wasn't fun for me. Lena likes her game fast, though, and I'm sure she'll have no trouble at all in getting all the points.

Another awesome Sharebear!  I thought it might be hard to tell them all apart, but everyone has done such a good job of making the Founder their own.  Your Shireen and your screenshots are beautiful.  If what everyone says about your ability to rack up points is true, then I'm looking forward to learning a lot from your story.  :)

@oshizu I am so glad you like the way Shireen look, and so glad I am allowed to join your Sharebears.

@reggikko Thanks, trying a bit of a different writing style here, and it might take me a bit longer to write and post then, but think it is worth it.
And about that line, I had to convince her somehow.

@wa-wa-world I waited a long time for the light to fall just like that. Took so many pictures. And I really like the Sharebear concept, the original is so pretty, and it was very funny to give her my look.

@FrancescaFiori and @PeregrineTook I am happy you like the cameo, I wanted to ask permisions, but that would have made me ruin the surprise.

@Shewolf13 Thanks it means alot to me that my pictures are like by others just as much as me, I spent alot of time on them.

@BallerinaHippo I will write this a bit more like story than documentary, but hope I can sneak in a bit of strategy here and there even though this is my strategy free game.

In general thanks for all the nice comments from all of you. The chapters will come, but as I have alot to do not always as often as I would have liked.
And this will be a relaxed game for me, just look at my Petal Legacy rules if you dont think so.

« Reply #14 on: April 13, 2018, 04:09:14 PM »
Week 1:

Just another glance at the rules and guidelines that the watcher sent me. It did not sound that bad.
It’s not like I have anything to lose anyway, and if this watcher deal should did not work out for me, I knew exactly how to break the rules and live on my life after my own rules.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

First step was to gain money for some statue we apparently needed to have. Don't really understand why though. But it will give me a chance to start my collections.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Selling the duplicated frogs I gathered was more than enough for the statue, lets see what the next step is.
“Find a elder of opposite gender, with 3 unique traits and convince them to move in with you, see love points for reference.” An elder? Why an elder, I am not going to marry an elder thats for sure!
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The watcher must be crazy, I am not going to do that. Instead I had the feeling of having to visit this place. Selvadorada. So many of the memories I have are from here.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Everything here really feels like I have been here before except him. See if I had searched for a elder I might never have met him!
I do not know why I said this to him, but I just had a certain urge to share my life with him.
“Hi, I am Shireen, Shireen Sharebear. I am part of a legacy where we could fulfill all our dreams. Do you want to be with me?”
Ratherly shocked he told me his shift was over, but that he would visit me tomorrow.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Should I maybe just stick to the watchers plan anyway? She wrote move in not marry. This poor soul was easily convincible, he just wanted a quiet place to live out his last days, Selvadorada and all its tourists was just not him anymore. A insane, goofball that is also a loner, the right traits to join this kind of legacy.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Step 4 was finally find love. When he showed up it was as if my heart stood still. His kisses showed me he had chosen me too. He is a genius just like me, a little bit of a snob, which fits a legacy well, and squeamish something he wanted to fight just to be with me.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The next step was more than satisfying, clearly now marked as repeatable.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Anthony wished for a Successful Family, so me being pregnant right away was joyful news. Getting pregnant was one of the things I had wished for at that wishing well, but you can't really give the watcher credit for this.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Last thing on the watcher list was that we both needed a job. Anthony wished to stay in the mixology business like he was used to from Salvadore. And I, I dream about becoming an arts critic.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Even though all the various deaths are on the watchers lists of tasks to complete I am not going to comply to that. So when this fire spread around Anthony it could only have been her trying to show me who was the one in charge.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Anthony managed to extinguish the fire though, and rushed over to me and my ever growing belly. He could not wait to become a father.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Marcos was a blessing in disguise. I think he enjoyed being away from Selvadorada, he was so appreciative that he even cleaned for us during the night.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I am so happy that I finally got to fulfill my biggest dream. With breeding the last frog I completed my aspiration. Time to choose another, hmm, so many choices. Big Happy Family? How? No, I did not decide yet! But somehow it felt like being my next goal.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The honor of being the first to max a skill went to Anthony, I adore watching his masterful mixology tricks.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Lab coat? Why does an art critic have to wear a lab coat? Even though I look good as a scientist, that dream still often pops up in my head. Right now I would rather be a doctor though, the baby is coming.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

One, two, three, good that it stopped there. Can you even get more than triplets in this simverse? No, no, and I shouldn't even think about it. We got 2 boys and 1 girl.Nathan, Neil and Nicole. Big Happy Family was maybe not the worst idea.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Anthony is such a brilliant father, always taking care of the babies. With us both having aspiration for this family we are really awaiting their toddler days.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I am so happy that we have gained enough money to buy all the needed toys and so for the triplets. I know Anthony really wished for a house too, with him being squeamish he really shows how much he wants me and this family, even though he has to be outside all the time.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Finally the triplets aged to toddlers, ohh how I love them, spending every single minute I have with them.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Nathan, Nicole and Neil, triplets, yet so alike but then again not. Nathan has all my colours, both hair and yes. Nicole is her father through and through. While Neil is like the perfect blend of us both.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Its so cute that they all fell asleep after eating. They work so hard on their skills, I am such a proud mother.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Marcos enjoyed his last days, we did actually not see him that much. I just know he rested at the little lake behind our lot.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

This spreadsheet the watcher send me is quiet fun. We reached a lot of goals already, hah and all without your help watcher. A none speaking watcher is nice to have.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
Week 1: (+12)
Family        1 (Generation 1 reaching YA, Shireen)
Creative    1 (Memoralising generaion 1, Shireen & Marcos + Anthony)
Love        1 (3 Unique trait, Goofball, Insane, Loner)
Knowledge    4 (Shireen; Photography. Anthony; Selvadorian Culture, Mixology, Photography. Nathan + Nicole + Neil; Communication, Imagination, Motion, Thinking, Potty Training.)
Athletic    1 (Shireen; Curator)
Nature        2 (Collection; Frogs, Aspiration Rewards)
Deviance    1 (1 Potion)
Handicap    1

Total:        12/103

Watchers notes:

  • As we in some generations will use already created spouses i decided to add an elder as primary spouse in each generation. That way I feel i can fairly gain the love points. The elder will get their photo taken, and will not earn any other points to the legacy. They will run around on freewill.
  • Selvadorado is a lovely place to get nice spouses.
  • Frogs are for me clearly the easiest collection to complete, atleast when you figure out how to breed the different types.
  • Triplets where not planned (I wanted twins)
  • Getting all toddler skills is a very good way to get a lot of knowledge points.
  • This is a very different writing style, not sure how good it is, but we will see.

What a fabulous way to start your legacy!
I appreciate your creativity in the way you will earn your points in the Love category.
Marcos' combination of traits made me laugh.
Congrats on your first collection (that was fast!).
The triplets are amazing--each one looks slightly different yet they are all beautiful!
You have your heir already, too! And with two beautiful sons, Big Happy Family will be quite possible.

Shireen and her family are off to a great start!
She is quite the spunky founder--making all her own decisions about how she wants to run her legacy! I like her a lot!

Haha, I laughed at the fact that Shireen's watcher is silent but Shireen is often talking to or about her watcher. ;-)

I agree! Selvadorada is a great place to find a spouse (or two!). I like your strategy of finding elder spouses. Your first one looks quite content. And how nice of him to clean the toilet!
Congratulations on triplets!
The fire was hilarious. The Watcher may be silent, but she makes her presence known! :)

Love it!  Elders as primary spouse is genius!  12 points in first week?  Wow... The triplets are beautiful!  The shot of them in their highchairs, asleep, and that shot of them all being read to are just too cute.

@oshizu Thanks for the nice words.
Marcos was just perfect for me with his traits. He never really did anything other than cleaning that toilet.
With the equality part all 3 of them are able to become the heirs, so its interesting to see who is chosen by you all, (when they age)
Yes i try to write this alot different from my other stories, and I somewho get the feeling Shireen is not that happy with me.

@sdhoey
I had to figure out something for the love category to make me feel that i got the points legit, so that was the best i could come up with.
Frogs where the easiest and cheapest i could find to begin wiht, and she got the aspiration done before the triplets where born so around tuesday evening, thats pretty okay i think.

@FrancescaFiori
I need to play more in Sevadorada though, its stunning.
I do not want to gain any points with "extra spouses" (Except this workaround), so they are pretty much just moving in and having fun on their own, his fun was obvious the toilet.

@PeregrineTook
You did great too :) I am just powerplaying, even though this is my leasure legacy I cant stop myself totally. Was nearly going for, how fast can you complete all points, except those for generations and careers, but managed to stop myself and keep this as some sort of leasure.

@Shewolf13
I didnt think that I would get 12 points either, but triplets all maxing all their skills gave alot of extra. I like spending time on the pictures, putting a week into 25 pictures can be hard, so trying to make them interessting.

Week 2:

Its so lovely to see them enjoy their last day as a toddler, after they finished all their skills so quickly we could only encourage them to go and play the day away.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

But that ** watcher, enough is enough, Anthony was just trying to bake a cake for the triplets and you turned on the fires?
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

He switched into his work clothes and gave me a kiss. You should be happy that I went to Selvadorada that day, because it's him that tells me to give you yet another chance!
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I need a mood boost after all those fires, good the flea market is in town.
But what kinda day is this? A flea market where no one sells collectibles?
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Anthony is not allowed to try to bake that cake right now, but the triplets all wanted pancakes instead anyway. Happy Birthday my babies.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Responsibility is the most important character trait to have, specially in a legacy with a watcher like this, I am very happy that Anthony uses his free days to teach them.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Neil is a bit to the wild site with his slob trait he did not mind getting dirty but loved playing out all night.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Nicole is more into the arts, and as a glutton we will have to keep her away from all Anthonys baking.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And Nathan takes the responsibility talk really serious. He is a dog lover, but we cant have a dog in the house at this time, we even still need a house. When he gets an A I will buy him a caged pet instead.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

They are all 3 making me very proud, progressing so fast with their aspirations and also their school work. And still the 3 of them are the best friends.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I love that our family is growing, first with London, then America, and lastly Orlando. 3 children saved from the adoption agency. As you cannot become my heirs, we will let you evolve in your own tempo, this is your freedom sweethearts.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Both Anthony and I are progressing good in our careers, we will for sure reach the top. And the outfits are stunning!
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Bringing home the last member of our family a little Bubalus.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Nathan was so excited, playing with the little fella all day long. I know he still wants a dog so bad, but this is what we can do for now.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Anthony is refining all his cooking skills, including baking. Not at once afraid of all the fires that watcher sends us. He is one brave man.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

London, America and Orlando are always following each other around the lot. They are so different, I really enjoy to see them grow up.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

A long awaited day, my heart has never been beating so fast. With a house full of children we finally decided it was the time to tie the knots.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Back to where it all started, Selvadorada, a perfect honeymoon destination. Even though the smaller children did not enjoy the heat that much, get inside kids, we have airconditioning.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I keep dreaming of myself going on these adventures digging out things, and the collector in me is dragging me towards this too. So much to discover, so much to see.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I feel so connected to my dreams now, to myself somehow, I cant describe this feeling even if I tried. Just that being this close to “them” makes me happy.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Anthony was happy too, he spent his adult birthday togehter with him friend from Selvadorada.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

With nearly completed aspirations my 3 triplets started working more intensely with their character traits, even though they are triplets they are not alike at all.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Also Orlando, America and London age up. 6 children at once. Phew.
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Taking a bit of Selvadorada with me home was a good decision. But I had to drag myself away from the artifacts to add the new obtained points in the spreadsheet. See watcher, I am doing my part of this deal!
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
Week 2: (+7)

Knowledge:   2 (Nicole; Creativity, Social, Mental, Motion. Nathan; Creativity, Social, Motion, Mental. Neil; Motion, Creativity, Mental, Social. London; Communication, Thinking. America; Thinking, Motion)
Athletic:      5 (Neil; Rambunctious Scamp, Artistic Prodigy, Whiz Kid, Social Butterfly. Nathan; Artistic Prodigy, Rambunctious Scamp, Social Butterfly, Whiz Kid. Nicole Artistic Prodigy, Social Butterfly, Whiz Kid, Rambunctious Scamp)

Total:      19/103

Watchers notes:
  • I am nearly not controling the adopted children, letting them have their fun on their own.
  • I found out how much money I could gain from archeaology and the family need a house.
  • About a house, I will hopefully build one before generation 2 but no promises.
  • And as you maybe can guess, i am working on that one point with the many children :P

And you have six beautiful children already! I'm glad three of them are adopted because it will be hard enough to pick among three of them!
I wash shocked that you were giving you adopted children their freedom, yet London and America maxed two skills each anyway!

And the photo of your slob Neil "working on" his character value trait (Bad Manners, I assume) was hilarious!!!
It is going to be impossible to choose among Nicole, Nathan, and Neil!
Four more children and you will complete the 10-kids-in-one-gen goal, and in your first generation! Whew!
I'm so curious how Shireen will bring in the last four but I'm not asking---I'm waiting until your next update so I can be surprised. :D

So many great moments---Shireen being angry about not finding a collectibles vendor at the Flea Market. I'd be mad, too!
How great that Shireen and the family make time to visit Anthony's birthplace.

Really loved this update! It's hard to believe that you've only played your Sharebears for two weeks! So much progress!!!

0.o 6 kids?  Oh my, I feel faint XD Though suppose it's not as bad as say 6 toddlers XD I am curious to see how the mood swings in teenager-hood goes though XD  I wish you the very best of luck.  Just cruising right along!
