Well my name comes from my first nickname,
One night my friends and I were discussing everyones nicknames and they realised that I didnt have one (Teagan isn't really a name thats easy to abbreviate) so they decided to make one up for me.... it did start off as puff 'n' stuff. I dont know how they came to that but im pretty sure it has something to do with me being really small and short ( Im just over 5ft) and over the years its been shortened to TeaPuff.
At first I really didnt like it but just like my real name ive learned to embrace it and eventually love it.

This was my name in an online rping forum I'm part of. I chose a race, and used its language generator and came out with Deklitch ... or so I thought. I discovered much later on it was actually Deklithc, which to my way of thinking is considerably harder to spell. So it stayed as Deklitch. However, when it is shortened to Dek, it doesn't matter how it is meant to be spelled.

My username comes from my pet dog, Choco. She's a greyhound who was tried out for racing but evidently failed epically, but should she of succeeded her racing name would of been East Bank Babs. The 123 because I first used this username to create an account on ROBLOX and I god confused about stuff (I was like 9) and thought that someone else had used the name so I added 123.

I normally use Catherss for most stuff, as that's my nickname at school.

My username came from my name. Carl(I'm ready to go Highlander you know)When I spell it backwards you get Lrac, which sounds weird. So i used the german spelling, cuz, why not, so, lrak, switch r and a and you get Lark.  8)

Really, in Oral they switch letter? That's pretty interesting at least. I wonder how that work.

It's my last name. I used to hate it, but when I got into college people started to call me by that, so I got used to it and now I love it. It's Polish, by the way.

Mine was a "handle" given to my sister, her husband and I by a trucker when we were vacationing together.  We were driving a Mustang and while talking to a trucker on the road ahead of us, we mentioned that we had no "handle" so he named us.

When I was in seventh grade I read The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien and taught myself Quenya (one of Tolkien's Elvish languages) the summer after because I fell in love with his languages. Corcofindė means "crow-haired" and is the Quenya translation of my name. Well, as close as I could get. My name actually means "raven-haired," but there is no Quenya word for "raven."

My name is because I love the stars (they're so pretty :D) and the phoenix is one of my favorite animals/mythical creatures, so voila! My name. :P

You guys are all so creative.
My nickname is my name and that 85 is either my age, date of dying or date of birth. Or... just a number. ;)

My name is kind of a weird story...

I have always wanted to be named Sara, because I thought it was WAY prettier than Lisa. (Just call me Sara or Simmy)
So that became the first part of my username and then we had lunch numbers at school. You would have to type it in to buy food. Anyways mine was 7253 and apparently my subconscious changed that to 2573. So, one day I was thinking of a good username (it had to have numbers) and so I ended up with Sara2573. I have been using it for everything ever since.

So 2573 is not your year of birth?
How nicknames can be sooo misleading. :P

Internet is fast these days. Messages tend to arive years earlier than they are posted.
I wonder how long it will take until some other mod will notice some members here (and one mod I don't dare to recall) are heading offtopic. :P

You seem to be the only one offtopic. I am still talking about my username as you said it was not my date of birth and I said that would make me  -561, so my username numbers cannot be my date of birth.

Well I will keep to topic 8)

Obviously my profile name comes from mythology, Roman to be exact and was the daughter of Jupiter. Minerva has been referred to as the goddess of wisdom, war, art, schools and commerce.
I chose this for fun a long time ago and funnily enough through life I have worked as a bookkeeper, banker and a teacher :P

Sorry, but I had to point this out. Minerva is also a teacher on Harry Potter! ^_^

I like you. :)
Not many people dare to say that so directly.

@Minverva: I thought I'd recognize that name somewhere now I read it! Our nickies are both mythological: though mine is from Greek.
