I have read through a lot of the pages in this thread and I think I remember seeing the answers to my questions somewhere, but haven't been able to track them down since.

Immortals can use the LTR "Change Lifetime Wish"?

Yes.

Also, if one immortal does use this LTR then that would mean no other immortal can use it?

Depends. If an Immortal uses Change Lifetime Wish as one of his 3 Unique rewards, then yes, no other immortal could buy it. But, if no immortal claims that reward as unique, then it's available to any immortal.

Ahh, thanks.  I was hoping it was something like that.

I have started my Franklin Colour dynasty again and did an overhaul on the house.  I removed the 8 museum rooms and used Pam's idea of putting sculptures, pictures and portraits in the immortals rooms, once they have reached immortality.  I played and saved quite frequently and so far so good.  I just couldn't seem to give up on my little family, since I am working on number 6 immortal.  Will post story and screenies tomorrow. ;D

Okay I am happy now, Gabriella got up to a B in school and is now soon to age up. She got to Level 5 painting and has her Child painting done. I also almost died from suspense as I forgot Diana's YA portrait and Chris was painting it on her Birthday, it was fianlly finished an hour before she aged up! Talk about close!  ;D Diana's money trees are now becoming harvestables! She is at level 6 of the Career.

Very good, Thomas!  I think Gabriella will need an A for you to choose her next trait.  If she's still got school time left, have her Work Hard.  Even if you don't get to choose her trait, it's not a deal breaker.  She may not be exactly as you want her, but with 4 of her traits chosen by you, I'm sure you can make it work.  :)

It sounds like you've got things in good control.

She has Artistic, Friendly and Good Sense of Humour so I think that's her skill/career and friends out the way and she may get a Romantic Trait. If she rolls an okay trait then I will be okay with that.

Yeah, Thomas, never mind what I said about living with the trait she rolls.  I forgot that we said you could change it with a cheat because of the technical difficulty.  Sorry about that.  :)

I will only change it if it comes up with something bad. Or maybe she can be the Insane one? Nah, I think that will be her child.  :P

oh this is a good idea.  I was wondering how to do the museum, currently I just have walls on the back of the lot with the paintings.  But last night after I went to bed I was thinking about having all the immortals at one time and realized they would each need their own permanent room.  Putting their items in their own room makes a lot of sense.

I had the Immortal's museum pieces in his/her bedroom until I built my museum. It works well as long as they have a large bedroom. I have since moved everything into their individual museum rooms, which I now have to remember to check so I don't forget a piece!

Now the only thing that goes into their museum are the paintings, photographs, and sculptures, right?  Cause I am only doing paintings so it isn't taking up any extra room, just wall space.  Or is there something else I am missing that I should have been collecting/keeping?

The only museum requirement is a painted portrait for each life stage. Photos and sculptures are extra.

You can add anything else if you want to but in the end it is only the paintings, sculptures, and photos that you can count towards the value of the completed museum.

Happy to announce that Gabriella made an A in her Two days of school!  ;D She also got some unique facial features from Christopher that I have not had before... Oh and on the subject of who will do Gabi's portrait for Elderness when Chris isn't around well let's just say I have that planned out and set in motion as I write.  ;D

So... Basically if you want to get the ambrosia you are going to have to have at least 2 different Sims: One, the Founder who can only max out one skill, be it cooking or gardening, and you need another to max out the other two skills.

I guess that this would be a question relating to the first: Your immortal Sim cannot max out a skill so long as he has not supermaxed it?\

The rules state that children must be the result of natural pregnancies.
