Chapter 55- Goodbye Hidden Springs (Part II)

Now that I was done with my requirements, it was time for me to go out on my own. It was pretty cool that I got to move to a brand new town and meet a whole bunch of new people. The bad part was that I had to leave my family behind. Since that was the case, I made sure to say goodbye to everyone before I left. I started with Aunty Willow.

I found Mom after that.

Stone had just come home from school, so I was able to give him his goodbye hug.

I told him that I left him my bass. Stone was pretty happy.

The last person that I needed to see was my Dad. He came home after his game, which his team won- yay!- and I immediately pulled him into a hug.

I was going to miss everyone, but I had to do this. I placed the call to the realtor to move out to a brand new place.

Any guesses on where our fair Rain will be moving?

Well done, Rain! Congrats again to the Hidden Springs Sakuras. Yeah, I have no idea where she's off to. Maybe Sunlit Tides? (I just have a need to visit there myself once I can make time for TS3 which is almost never now, oops.)

Nope, surprise me.

Well done, Rain! Congrats again to the Hidden Springs Sakuras. Yeah, I have no idea where she's off to. Maybe Sunlit Tides? (I just have a need to visit there myself once I can make time for TS3 which is almost never now, oops.)

All shall be revealed in this chapter  ;)

My lips are sealed, don't worry. ;)

Thanks Trip  ;D

Chapter 56- To The Valley

I was just about to move to my new town when I was suddenly transported to this weird place.

Okay, so it wasn't totally weird. I actually figured out where I was based on the stories that Aunty Willow told me. She learned those from her Mom, which was my great great grandma, who learned those from her ancestors. You know, the ones that we're trying to save. Anyhoo, I was at Grim's place.

Not that I expected them to roll out the welcome wagon, I went off in search of someone.

"Hey!" I said to the lady I came across. "I'm Rain Sakura."
"Welcome, Ms. Sakura," the woman replied.
I could tell that she was all business.

"So, what's up?" I asked her. "Why am I here?"
"You are here as a part of your moving requirements," the woman, Julie, explained. "You are not allowed to take any money with you to the new town, save for $4000."
"That's rich of you," I said sarcastically.

"I don't make the rules, I just enforce them," Julie replied.

"So, what, are you, like Grim's secretary or something?" I questioned.

"Essentially," Julie stated.
"In other words, you run the show," I said with a wink.
A ghost of a smile crossed Julie's lips.
"Don't let the Boss hear you say that," she said.

"Julie!" we heard a voice call from the room next to us. "Where's my latte?"
I chuckled.
"Here's my cash, simoleans, moolah, dinero, etc." I said, handing my stuff over to Julie.

"Thank you, Ms. Sakura," Julie replied. "You will be transported back to your new town at the end of the hallway. Good day."

I headed back down the hallway from which I entered and, as Julie stated, I was transported back to Simlandia. Specifically, Dragon Valley.

My new place was pretty nice. It was definitely different than Hidden Springs, for sure, but nice. The next thing I had to do was go out and find a nice man friend. I didn't expect finding a spouse to be easy, scientifically speaking. But, I was happy to be proven wrong.

I was out greeting some of the locals and I met a cute guy by the name of Mason Sackholme. The attraction was instant, to say the least.

I guess I get my bravery from my Mom because I didn't waste any moment to tell Mason exactly how I felt and where I wanted this relationship to go.

Thankfully he was on board.

Mason and I made it official, right then and there.

And, since I sort of needed to have kids like, right away, I asked Mason to be my man forever and ever.

Thankfully, that didn't scare him off and he agreed to marry me.

Here is my future hubby, Mason.

Like I said, Dragon Valley is pretty nice!

And there you have it, Dragon Valley is the third world that I rolled at random for this dynasty. With a new world, there is a new name theme. The theme for Dragon Valley is going to be celestial terms.

Chapter 57- Two for the Price of One

Mason and I headed home to our lovely little abode and got married that day.

After our wedding ceremony, we had a little party with Mason's sister, Susie. Once Susie left to go to work, Mason and I headed upstairs to celebrate our wedding night.

There were explosions, for sure, just not the kind that you may think.

Mason coming to bed smelling like smoke and burnt disgustingness made me feel pretty nauseous.

I told Mason to cool it with the potions for a bit and he agreed. Instead, he decided to take up gardening.

I had a few days off from work to allow Mason and me to settle in, now that we were married and everything. I went out to town to get to know some of the locals. I met a really nice lady while out and about and discovered that she was pregnant. Future in law? You bet she is.

I definitely made sure to lock that little nugget of information away when I realized that I, too, was expecting some nooboos!

I told Mason and he was thrilled. We were really looking forward to having kids.

The days went by pretty quickly and things were uneventful, at least until I started getting some stomach pains. I thought that it might be the burnt mac n' cheese but then soon discovered that they were not stomach pains, but labor pains instead.

Mason and I rushed to the hospital to welcome our little baby into the family.

Here is our daughter, Soleil.

And her twin sister, Starling.

Having twins was definitely a surprise. Mason and I had our hands full, so it was no surprise that the girls' birthdays arrived sooner than we thought.

Soleil, the eldest, went first.

She was a nice blend of Mason and me.

Starling followed her sister.

Like her sister, Starling was also a nice blend of my and Mason's features.

Regardless of what they looked like, our girls were awesome.

You got lucky with the girls mixed genes, nice. The wedding area is terrific, looks so lovely and perfect for tying the knot.

What a beautiful wedding site! Sure beats my typical bathrooms and front porches.

I like creating wedding areas, especially if they are going to be used for a couple of generations. Might as well make it aesthetically pleasing!

Chapter 58- Amazing Maid

Mason and I teamed up in order to teach the twins their toddler skills. We started with potty training.

Once we mastered the potty, we moved on to talking.

Mason and I did take a break and let the girls have some fun or get in a little nap once in a while. At one point, the maid went upstairs to go and tidy up the girls' room. She is such a great maid and she loves the kids (I've never seen a maid snuggle and kiss the kids).

With break time over, it was time for toddler training round 2.

Talking? Check.
Potty? Check.
Walking? Soon to be check.

It didn't take Soleil and Starling very long to get all of their skills mastered, so they got to enjoy the rest of their toddler days playing and having fun.

Starling liked the peg box while Soleil had fun with the xylophone.

When it came time for their child birthdays, the girls were more than ready to age up. Soleil, the eldest, went first.

Starling followed suit...

...Okay, she at least tried to follow suit. Unfortunately, the cake spontaneously burst into flames. However, it was super maid to the rescue. Not only does she like kids, she keeps them alive, too. Best. Maid. Ever.

We tried Starling's birthday again and it went off without a hitch this time.

Mason and I updated Soleil and Starling's room while they went and updated their child outfits.

Here is Starling.

She was already an Artistic Genius, but she gained the Family Oriented trait for this birthday.

Here is Soleil.

She wasn't too different from her sister, as they were both a Genius. However, Soleil Hates the Outdoors but is a huge Supernatural Fan, which is something that apparently developed after her most recent birthday.

The girls are beautiful as is their room.

That really is one amazing maid. The girls are cute, loving their room too.

The twin are very beautiful. Their coloring works really well in them.

Mason and Rain both had some nice genes. The Dragon Valley heirs were certainly unique, for sure.

Chapter 59- BFF's

Being the heir versus a spare, thankfully, didn't impact the girls in any way. In fact, they were the best of friends.

When her sister wasn't around, Starling began playing around with Mason's chemistry set.

And where was Soleil? She was making friends with one of her classmates, Nathan. Remember the lady I met when I first arrived here? Well, that's her son. Cute boy.

Soleil and Nathan were also really close with each other. Nathan was also good friends with Starling, which was a good thing because Soleil and Starling were kind of a package deal.

I made a new friend too. When rearranging the house after moving in, I discovered something strange. After analyzing it, I realized that it was a dragon egg.

It eventually hatched and we suddenly had our very own baby dragon.

Mason was utterly thrilled at the fact that we now had a dragon.

Nope. It was his birthday.

Nathan was like another child to us. He, Soleil and Staring were practically always together. That, and the fact that he lived next door was probably a good reason.

The girls were all tuckered out by the end of the day from hanging out all day with their BFF Nathan, but not too tired to enjoy a bedtime story from Mom.

I headed downstairs to spend some time with my hubby when Mason randomly walked over to me and handed me a party noisemaker. Oh, right, it's my birthday.

Darn that disappearing hair bow. I'm seriously going to glue it to my head one of these days.

I don't know if it's just me or if everyone has a problem with money trees and green dragons. After having the dragon harvest the money trees, they stopped growing money bags. Just a warning.

Happy birthday Rain and Mason. The boy next door, I guess finding a spouse for Soleil was super easy =D

I really lucked out with Soleil and Nathan. They are actually a really cute couple, too.

I don't know if it's just me or if everyone has a problem with money trees and green dragons. After having the dragon harvest the money trees, they stopped growing money bags. Just a warning.

Thankfully, I didn't have any money trees. I just had red berry beans. I love those. Plus, I think Rain stuffed the dragon in her pocket and it never made it back out  :o

Chapter 60- Musketeers

I absolutely could not believe that the girls were already going to become teenagers. We were going to have two teenagers in the house. Two teenagers. That's going seriously going to keep things lively around here.

Soleil went first.

Starling followed her sister.

Thankfully, we were able to get through this birthday without burning the kitchen down. That's a good thing because super maid wasn't working today.

Here is teenage Starling.

She gained the Green Thumb trait.

And here is Soleil.

She gained the Lucky trait.

Starling asked for an easel for her birthday. She had always liked art and aced her art classes in school.

The one thing that Soleil wanted for her birthday was an alchemy set. She was really interested in the paranormal and supernatural. Mason and I, of course, obliged. We wanted her to find something she loved to do for her skill challenges as the active heir.

Speaking of things she loved, Nathan also aged up along with the girls. Now that they were teenagers, there was no stopping the two lovebirds.

Nathan and Soleil made it official and agreed to go to prom together, with Starling of course. They were like the Three Musketeers.

I think they get their romantic nature from Mason and me.

It was wonderful to know that the girls were great friends, even after Soleil began her relationship with Nathan. They were going to need to rely on each other a lot as the years went by. I know I relied on Aunty Willow a lot and so did my Mom.

I talked to Mason about this but he didn't seem to have any idea what I was talking about. Then again, maybe it's because he's absent minded...

Well, whatever. What was more important was the girls going to prom. They looked absolutely gorgeous.

Soleil was voted prom queen and Nathan was prom king. Starling was there to cheer on her sister and her boyfriend. She also had fun dancing with some of her friends, especially a nice boy named Buck. At home, Mason and I enjoyed our own special night together.

It may not be prom, but it was still fun.

Yeah, you and I are like the three musketeers, except, you know, it's just the two of us.

Mason was certainly good for a few laughs. He had some great genetics, too.

Chapter 61- Here Comes the Sun

I had mixed emotions about the girls growing up into young adults. While I was excited that the teen years were over, I was still longing for the days of potty training, xylophones and the attack of the claw. That being said, there was no turning back. Soleil aged up first.

Starling followed her sister.

Here is Starling in her new outfit and in mid blink.

Her final trait was Photographer's Eye, so she decided that her lifetime wish would be The Visionary.

And here is Soleil.

She gained the Schmoozer trait, which was good since she decided that she would join the business career track. Her lifetime wish, though, was going to be Alchemy Artisan.

As for me, my baby is all grown up so I am now in retirement. Toodles!

Rain Sakura

Good afternoon! My name is Soleil Sakura and I am the 9th heir in my family's dynasty. To start off, I called over my boyfriend, Nathan. He had aged up a day before me, so he was already a young adult. When he came over, I asked him to move in with us and he agreed. Then, he got a much needed makeover.

He is so handsome.

I made sure to tell him so after he got settled in to his new place.

I also decided to propose to Nathan, right there in the bathroom. Sure, it wasn't the most romantic place, but it didn't matter. I was just happy to finally get the chance to ask him to marry me.

Nathan immediately accepted.

When Nathan and I came downstairs, Mom, Dad and Starling had some confetti for us to celebrate our engagement. Dad seemed to get a little carried away with the confetti...or so we thought.

Dad had reached his elder years but it was Starling to the rescue! She finally managed to create the special potion that Mom told her about from her Aunty Willow.

It was a good thing, too, because Mom also had her birthday. Thankfully, it was only her adult birthday so she still had a while to go before she turned grey.

Starling gave Dad one of her brand new potions and he quickly chugged it down.

It was nice to know that Dad was going to be around for a while, especially since I had some work to do before Nathan and I could start a family. However, I was certainly making progress. In fact, I maxed out the alchemy skill, which was super exciting!

Now that I had maxed the alchemy skill, I was looking forward to learning the rest of the potions and completing one of my skill challenges.

Done and done!

*edited: Caught up! Wow! Dragon Valley is my all time fav town. I just have to say I loved all the Bridgeport heirs, I think Kenai was a gorgeous looking sim, those eyes! Forest from Hidden Springs was very fine too.
