Awww, Cerulean is adorable!  I was hoping she'd end up with Ruby's blue hair, but she did end up with lovely blue eyes  :=)

I agree with Pip. She's so pretty and those clothes are perfect.

The eyes were certainly fitting, stating that her name was Cerulean.

Aww, she is absolutely adorable.  ;D

What an adorable cutie is Cerulean.  Waiting to see more toddler pics. And congratulations to the 15th heir. Only one(Cerulean) left to complete the dynasty. Looking forward for next update.

Welcome last hair! She's a cutie.

Cerulean certainly made a cute toddler. I think only Vienna and Forest could have given her a run for her money.

Chapter 95- Fast Forwarding

After Cerulean aged up, we all were looking forward to working with her on her toddler skills. Uncle Viridian volunteered to start off with potty training duty.

I had a little time before I head to go off to the diner, so I got started with teaching my little angel how to talk.

Last but not least, Ruby worked with Cerulean on how to walk.

Cerulean was such a little darling. It was hard to think that the fate of our family rested on the shoulders of my little girl.

Ruby was also very pleased when Cerulean received a special present in the mail. It was a special doll, just like I had received years ago. We were excited to see that Cerulean took to the doll, as we wanted her to know about her unusual heritage.

While Uncle Viridian was playing with Cerulean and I was off at work, Ruby continued working on her lifetime wish. She finally maxed the guitar skill and thus completed her life's dream.

The next big celebration for the family was Cerulean's child birthday.

Here is Cerulean in her new big girl gear.

She gained the Bookworm trait.

Like a fish to water or a bird to the sky, my bookworm daughter took to writing immediately. It brought a smile to Uncle Viridian's face, knowing that Grandma Lanya's computer was going to be put to good use by a new, future best selling author.

Uncle Viridian told Cerulean about Lanya's written works and she devoured them. They spent hours together discussing literary elements, plots and more.

Most of Cerulean's childhood was spent writing or in school. Not surprisingly, things flew by and it was time for Cerulean to age up into a teenager.

And here she was, my teenage daughter. Wow. A teenager...

Not surprisingly, Cerulean gained the Artistic trait.

Love her bookworm author look.  As I've mentioned, the shorter lifespan of the 4x4 has always made me hesitate, but you're making me think maybe I should give it a try...some day...way down the road...

I really liked Cerulean's child glasses. I like the medium lifespan...no wasted time. It does seem like there are constant birthdays though.

I know! I can't believe that this is technically the last chapter.

Yes, Pippin. You should absolutely take a stab at the medium lifespan. KRae agrees with me  :D

I like her look, is bookworm but feminine. Her eyes are cerulean too.

I'm glad that Cerulean got Ruby's blue eyes. They really looked pretty on her.

Chapter 96- What Happens Next

Not surprisingly, Cerulean spent a good portion of her teenage years in front of the computer. She was already penning many great stories, even as only a teen.

She did take a break to do things such as go to school, eat and sleep. Cerulean also did attend prom. Not that I was surprised, but I think she was, but Cerulean was voted Prom Queen. I guess quiet bookworms are now the cool ones.

Cerulean did manage to capture the attention of a classmate, but she wasn't really interesting in starting a relationship with a girl or guy for that matter.

Unfortunately, her classmate wasn't too thrilled about that.

Cerulean would come downstairs on occasion, feeling slightly annoyed. I guess it was hard to type when there was a ghost possessing your desk.

I guess Grandpa Sidd wanted Cerulean to write a horror story...

Eventually, Grandpa Sidd got bored and let Cerulean get back to writing. It was a good thing because she was able to pump out quite a few short stories before it came time for her young adult birthday.

It was still a very surreal moment when I saw my little girl go up to the cake to celebrate her young adult birthday. Where did the time go?

Here she is, my little girl.

Cerulean's final trait was Perfectionist.

Well, I guess that's it for me. I can't wait for this whole dynasty thing to be over. We've all worked so hard to come to this point and now it was all up to Cerulean to bring this thing to its conclusion.

Signing off,

Maroon Sakura

Hmm? Oh, sorry. I was in the middle of a sentence. Um, I'm Cerulean Sakura. I'm the final heir in my family's dynasty. So, I don't really have much to say because all of my thoughts I prefer to record on paper or on the computer. But, I guess what I could say is that I'm excited that my family's hard work was almost done and then we could finish with the requirements put forth by Grim and then live our lives the way we wanted to.

But that couldn't happen until I finished all of my requirements. I still had quite a few books left to pen. I didn't want to waste any time, but I did have to pause and take a break to celebrate my adult birthday.

I finished up the last few chapters of my latest novel and then sent them off to my publisher. With that, I finished my requirements. Like the ending of a good book, it left me feeling glad.

So, now that it was all over, I took a special potion to return to young adulthood and then to freeze my age. I now had my whole life ahead of me. However, what was supposed to happen next? We held up our end of the bargain, so what now?

As a writer, I always hated to leave a story unfinished. I needed to know what happens afterward.

I can't believe that the challenge storyline is over! Stay tuned because the Sakura's are not finished yet. I will post a stat chapter because it's been a loooonggg time since we've seen the stats of some of the previous heirs and then there will be an epilogue. Stay tuned!

It is odd way dynasties just end. I always feel like I've abandoned them.

I know, I hate that too. I have a couple of dynasties that I finished that just sit there in the main menu but I have no interest in continuing them since the challenge is over. Makes me feel bad  :P

So, you're finished but there's still more?!?!  Good!  Can't wait to see what the future holds for the now-immortal Cerulean!

Of course! I am a sucker for happy endings, so there will always be one in my stories :)

I cannot believe that this story is finished. I'll be waiting for the epilogue (and the reason why you make Celurean immmortal).

I know! It's been a long road, but there is still more to come.

Epilogue Part I- Seeing the Rainbow

I just barely finished braiding my hair in my preferred style when I was suddenly teleported someplace. I was no longer in Starlight Shores, for sure.

Looking around, the place seemed like something out of a sci-fi or fantasy novel. It was pretty amazing, I had to admit.

It took me a moment but I was able to discern what this place was. I remembered reading about it in one of Grandma Lanya's books. She recorded what Grandpa Phoenix told her from his ancestors about the dynasty and our family's agreement with Grim.

"Cerulean Sakura," a pretty blond woman greeted me. "Welcome. We've been expecting you."

"And who might you be?" I questioned.
"My name is Julie. I am Grim's assistant," Julie explained. "I have to admit that it was quite a treat to discover that your family had progressed through Grim's challenge will determination and courage."

"You've been keeping watch?" I asked, surprised.
"Of course," Julie confirmed. "Grim had an office poll going on what generation your family would fail the challenge at."
"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence," I retorted.
"It can get pretty dead around here-excuse the pun-so we need to entertain ourselves. No offense," Julie said. "Anyway, Grim would like to meet with you."

This was it. The moment my family had been waiting for. The final heir was going to meet with Grim, the person who forced us to undertake this challenge, and show him that we held up our end of the bargain.

"Ah, Miss Sakura," Grim greeted me in an oddly cheery manner. "Please, have a seat."

"So, Grim," I began to say, though not really entirely sure what to say in this situation.

"A dynasty challenge, really?" I blurted out. "That was the dumbest idea ever! Do you know how much crap you put my family through?"

"Okay, yeah, not my best moment," Grim agreed. "But, seriously, those immortal dynasties and things are killing my business! I had to do something!"

"I mean, I couldn't really just sit around with all of you sims just becoming immortal, now could I?"

"Um, do you realize all of the grief that my family had to go through? Not once, not twice, but three times? My great-grandma Shiroi was tasked with completing an immortal dynasty and then my great-grandma Haiiro did the same. They completed their dynasties to make a better life for us," I shouted. "Instead of finally getting to live their lives how they wanted, you come in and screw it up! Not cool, Grim! Not cool."

I was nowhere near done with giving Grim a taste of his own medicine.

"Listen, we held up our end of the bargain," I continued before he could even get a word in. "Now, I get to set the terms. You are going to go into your time machine or whatever it is you use to sabotage my family and bring them back. Now."

I folded my arms across my chest and stared at Grim, making sure that he knew that I was serious. Reluctantly, he went over to his time machine and did what he needed to do to make things right.

I was a little scared when the machine began shake and glow. Was something going wrong? Was this it? Was my family never coming back?

Seconds later, a figure appeared before my eyes. I knew immediately who it was.

The woman that appeared looked around, seemingly disoriented or at least not entirely in control of her senses yet.

"Hello Grandma Niji," I said.

Niji said nothing. She looked at me for a moment, but then, she pulled me in to the biggest hug I'd ever been given.

"We did it, grandma," I whispered. "We did it."

If only someone like Rain or Apollo would have met with Grim...it wouldn't have been pretty!

Epilogue Part II- Confused

"I can't believe I'm really seeing you," Niji said. "It's felt like an eternity..."
"I can't even imagine," I replied honestly. "And that's saying something for a writer."
"You're a writer?" Niji asked me with genuine curiosity.
I nodded.

"I feel like I've missed out on so much..."
I smiled at her.
"Don't worry," I assured Grandma Niji. "I'll fill you in on everything."

And so I did. If there was one thing I was good at, it was telling stories. I told Grandma Niji all the stories that had been passed down from generation to generation, telling her all about her descendants, my ancestors.

We talked uninterrupted for what felt like hours. However, I spied something materializing behind Grandma Niji. I had no idea what was happening and, admittedly, was a little fearful of what it might be.

My fear was quickly quelled and replaced with laughter when I discovered that it was my Grandpa Makoto that suddenly appeared, looking quite befuddled.

"Okay, this is definitely not Flying V's Coffeeshop..." he mumbled as he rubbed the back of his head warily.

Upon hearing Grandpa Makoto's voice, Grandma Niji froze. Slowly, she turned around to face her long lost love.

Seeing them reunite for the first time in centuries was better than any romance novel that had ever or would ever be written.

"What in Simlandia is going on, Niji?" Grandpa Makoto asked.

Grandma Niji gave a brief introduction of me to Grandpa Makoto and then urged me to take the reigns and explain what happened.

The three of us continued talking, probably into the wee hours of the night.

"You held up your end of the bargain," Grim spoke up, walking over to where the three of us were conversing.
I turned around to face him.
"Yes, we did," I said sternly, hands on my hips. "Now it's your turn."
With an annoyed sigh, Grim gave me the instructions on what to do to remedy what he had done.
"You know, if you ever get tired of that whole writing gig, you could come work for me," Grim said afterward.
I just stared at him.
"Um, no."
"Well, it was worth a shot," Grim said with a shrug.
Amazingly, Grim requested a high-five before sending us on our way back to Simlandia.

With Grim's instructions in hand, it was time to finally end this dynasty.
