I'm fine with it because EA's making it more and more clear that empty lots aren't their priority.

Regarding The Old Salt House, from the first page of this thread, almost a year ago:

How should we handle San Myshuno? Bulldoze The Old Salt House or is there a provision for moving into an apartment? May we bulldoze any unoccupied residential lot to move into or should we choose lots that are already empty?

You can bulldoze the Old Salt House or one of the community lots to get an empty lot.

This made sense to me, since its removal doesn't affect the city ecosystem in any meaningful way; it's an unoccupied residential lot in a world consisting primarily of apartments. Britechester doesn't really have a comparable lot (Honeydew Fields being less than half the size), so it also seemed reasonable that it was disallowed. I don't presently have Eco Lifestyle, but I understand it has a couple of unoccupied starter homes - could folks maybe be permitted to bulldoze one of them?
