Thanks to everybody for clarifying! :)
I can't wait to actually start playing. I've been mulling over the rules and planning for hours! Part of the process, I guess, ahahaha.

Yeeeaaaahhh, that's why I was asking. x) Thanks though!
Sorry if some of my questions seem silly. I'm just new to this whole challenge thing and I don't want to do anything wrong!

You cannot make that IF real until the heir is a Young Adult though. Otherwise it's an extra sim in the house, not a spouse and a fail.

Makes sense! Thank you :)

I know these have been asked somewhere in here before, but I can't find the answer in the rules or faq

- are there any restrictions on aging up spares? Can I age them up as quickly as possible and move them straight out?
- can baby heirs be aged up immediately, or do you have to wait?

1. Yes you can.
2. I would say No because you can only age them up in their other stages after completing the requirements for that stage. Unless it says in the rules otherwise I don't think you can.

I believe the challenge team has stated many times that heir can't be aged up early during the baby stage, probably because there aren't anything special you can have them do as a baby.

You can only age up an heir when their requirements are done.   The infant stage has no requirements so you cannot age them up early.

If you want something to do during the baby stage you can always work on the parents relationship with the baby so as to save some time if you wish during the toddler days.

Thanks guys - I did remember correctly then, but it's better to be sure, so I'm glad I asked. I don't mind the baby stage - I quite like the nooboos, even after the baby boomer challenge.

I have a question about the mausoleum items. This may have been mentioned before, but do mixed drinks count? (From the Mixology skill.) My actress founder supermaxed Charisma but needs one more skill challenge, so I was looking for something that would be a) easy and b) result in mausoleum items.

No.   It's not one of the possibilities.  There is a link to a list from the rules page of things that are allowed.

Can the skills learnt in the headstart playpen count towards the toddler requirement?

Not only do drinks not count, but I don't think any of the Mixology challenges are really very easy. What are your other options?

Chuckles, I think they count, but you can only learn 2 levels from them...

Playpen and walker do not count because they only go up two levels.  It has to be something you can go 3 levels with.
