I know this is probably a dumb question, but are Vampire heirs allowed to get the Immortal reward?

They can if it is their final requirement.

My founder (who is pregnant with gen two, might I add!) portrait is showing up as well the cat! I got so frustrated I gave the cat up for adoption but still nothing! Help me! And I did try reset sim.

Her portrait is the picture of the cat! And now her husband can't interact with her... *frets* I made a typo in my haste, apologies.

You've reset the sim, have you reset everyone? Cleared the cache? Just closed the game and restarted?

You can always repaint the portrait if needed and can you control the founder yourself? Or is she unplayable as well as unable to interact with her spouse?

I've closed but not restarted... I'll try clearing the caches too. Eek, I have to check before bed! I didn't try resetting everyone, no. Thanks for the advice. <3 I can play her, somewhat. It's not an actual picture layaya, it's her little green square image.

Sounds like a bug to me. If more bugs come from it and your sim(s) become unplayable, the best thing to do is go back to an earlier save without the bugs. So don't delete your earlier saves right now!

I'll load it up and if it's still the same glitch, then I'll go delete caches.

Are we allowed to make use of the career reward objects once obtained?

You can use them up until all items need to be in the mausoleum then they can't be used anymore.
