The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Aspirations

Spellcraft & Sorcery and Purveyor of Potions Reward Traits

The Sims 4 Realm of Magic new Aspirations
Both the Purveyor of Potions and Spellcraft and Sorcery Aspirations await. Most players will finish both due to easy requirements.

Despite all the power you get as a Spellcaster in The Sims 4 Realm of Magic, somehow even its two new Aspirations overlap in such a way that you should have 0 trouble finishing off both of them. They share a few objectives, so if you're doing one you're doing both. This means you get a ton of points you can spend at the reward store, as well as two great reward traits for your Sims. Here's a rundown of the requirements and what the Master Mixer and Slinger of Spells rewards do for your Sims.

Spellcraft and Sorcery: Slinger of Spells

The Spellcraft and Sorcery Aspiration in The Sims 4 Realm of Magic
Spellcraft and Sorcery focuses heavily on casting spells. Well, learning them really. You only need to cast one spell, but you do need to win a few duels!

Spellcraft and Sorcery is focused on the spells aspect of playing a Spellcaster. Its reward trait is Slinger of Spells, which promises reduced charge gains whenever you cast a spell, protecting your Sim from death, helping them stay in the normal charge range for less failures and improved effects thanks to the school-specific Spellcaster Perks you can that that reward you keeping charge low. Slinger of Spells knocks a whopping 30% off any charge your Sim gains from any source! You can cheat to get this trait using Traits.Equip_trait Trait_Knowledge_SlingerOfSpells.

You can of course do it the "hard" way and just finish the Aspiration like any other. Here are the steps to completing it:

Aspiration Checklist

Milestone I: First Steps

  • Become a Spellcaster - 75 Points
  • Travel to The Magic Realm - 50 Points
  • Learn a Spell - 75 Points

Milestone II: Learning The Ways

  • Reach Spellcaster Rank 2 - Acolyte - 300 Points
  • Know 3 Different Spells - 300 Points
  • Cast a Spell on Another Sim - 75

Milestone III: Devilish Duelier

  • Reach Spellcaster Rank 3 - Adept - 750 Points
  • Win 3 Duels Against Other Spellcasters - 500 Points
  • Know 5 Different Spells - 750 Points

Milestone IV: Wand-erful Spellcaster

  • Reach Spellcaster Rank 5 - Virtuoso - 1000 Points
  • Know 10 Different Spells - 1500 Points

You will receive a total 5,375 reward store points for completing this Aspiration.

Purveyor of Potions: Master Mixer

The Purveyor of Potions Aspiration rewards you with the Master Mixer Trait, greatly reducing the failure rate of potions your Sim drinks.

The Purveyor of Potions Aspiration, found in the Nature category, is the second new set of goals for owners of Realm of Magic. Unfortunately much of it overlaps, and where it differs is not very meaningful. For the sake of balance, you will only get the "Become a Spellcaster" and other type rewards only once even if you switch back and forth on these tracks. The reward for Purveyor of Potions is Master Mixer. Master Mixers rarely fail when using potions on themselves, which is nice. This reward is listed in every potion recipe as multiplying your final score, and with other factors such as high-quality potions and buffs like My Power Grows which is rewarded after you gain a rank up in Spellcaster, you will very rarely ever see a potion failure again. You can cheat the new Trait with Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_Nature_MasterMixer.

So I’m playing as a spellcaster, and for some reason I don’t have the social option to challenge someone to a duel. I’be completed the aspiration on another sim and now I’m wondering if it is because this sim is pregnant. ANY HELP?!

Try dueling with another spellcaster and see if that works.
